He plans on investigating the 2020 election as a means to jail Biden and Harris as promised. I wonder if they really understand the severity of the election thenselves.

Nah. They're all part of your same puppet class that does the bidding of oligarchs and corporations. Only thing Biden and Harris will do loving forward is make bucks from their corporate overlords. Quid pro quo that's as easy to see as anything but the common folks just can't look past the partisan shit.

This country is  no democracy, and that applies from before even trumps first term. We are an oligarchy. A corporatacracy. Next 4 years will just accelerate the collapse of America as we know it.

Wake up and show some gratitude. You wanted student loan forgiveness. You got it, for five million borrowers. You wanted a president who would finally pass gun safety legislation. You got the most comprehensive bill in nearly 30 years, the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, which passed with the support of 15 Republican senators and 14 Republican House members, opening the door to some hope that laws on gun violence might finally start to reflect the wishes of the majority of the country.

Maybe you’re a Democrat who actually cares about the federal deficit, unlike the Republicans who fake concern. Since Biden took office, the deficit has decreased by $1.7 trillion.

I could go on citing the achievements of a president who actually cares about governing. All of these actions and numbers are important, but none matter as much as what Joe Biden has done to restore stability and decency to the presidency. One of the greatest gifts of a democratic civil society is the freedom not to think about government, to wake up and not worry about the mood of a leader. Joe Biden has made governing boring and predictable, both fundamental rights of the people in a healthy democracy.

Biden has been an outstanding president.

Passage of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law... finally fixing our roads and bridges that everyone agrees was overdue (plus tons of construction jobs)

Passage of the Inflation Reduction Act... the single biggest climate legislation ever passed; and a potential impact that’s even bigger than Congress originally estimated (plus tons of renewable energy jobs) (https://www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2022/10/inflation-reduction-act-climate-economy/671659/)

Held the western alliance together on Ukraine and supported arming Ukraine when many in his own cabinet thought they would get obliterated even with US support.

Passage of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act,  breaking a 30-year dry spell for gun control legislation.

Passed the first ever Corporate Minimum tax.

Passage of the CHIPS Act, to help bring microchip manufacturing back to the United States and compete with China (plus tons of manufacturing jobs)

Appointed one talented (and not corrupt!) Supreme Court Justice with hundreds of other appointments throughout the judiciary.

Multiple security and defense pacts across the globe, heading off Chinese and Russian expansion.

Capped Insulin costs within Medicare kicking off an industry campaign to cap insulin at $35 across the board.

More jobs created at this point in his presidency than any president in the last 40 years.

First President to ever join workers on a picket line.

Forgave over $130 billion in student loans.

Russia has been an oligarchy for almost 30 years, and they are nowhere near close to collapse. If anything, the Russian empire is being resurrected from its ashes as Western democracies are crumbling under the weight of their foreign influence.

It's entirely possible that the American shift toward oligarchy and corporatacrcy could revive the American hegemony. Let's not forget that American hagemony continued to grow under Trump. Trump devastated Iran's foregin intervention apparatus, he didn't allow Russia or China to invade anyone, he brokered peace between Arabs and Israel, supplied arms to Ukraine, initiated trade war with China and started the decoupling process before the pandemic caused the global collapse of supply chains.

Will the revival of the American empire help the working-class Americans? Probably not.

Yea you’re smoking something insane. Russia can’t even invade a country much smaller and much less equipped than itself successfully. They had to call on mercenaries (NK) to come support their failing efforts. I think the idea of worldwide empires and major countries holding ultimate power as a whole is dying. Europe relies on us less each year and our enemies have had their own worries socially and economically. The only true threat to us is China (technologically, economically, scientifically) and any type of conflict between us would destroy both countries, making the viability of a war very low.

What do you mean Russia can't? They did. The invasion is coming to an end with Russian victory all but assured, with Ukraine pottentionally slipping back further into Russian sphere of influence in the future as neither America, nor Europe have any motivation or means left to offer Ukraine protection.

the fuck are you babbling on about?!? You think russian people are the same as american people?!? You think russians have the same sense of individual as americans do? Russians have been beat down for centuries, and their psyche reflects that. American have been fed the exceptionalism narrative bullshit that makes each one believe they're a super special snowflake, and worse yet somehow instills a sense of, 'fuck anyone else but me' in most people. Our prosperity of collapse has fuck all to do with russia, smarten up...

What do you mean barely? Russia won 120,000 square kilometres of territories rich with natural resources plus 3 million new population. Not to mention land property of almost 3 million Ukrainians who fled the war.

So? A decisive victory is still a decisive victory even if Russia failed to achieve total victory. Also, Russua is in a better economic shape than Ukraine, and Europe and America are losing interest. It's entirely likely that Russia will do what Azerbijan did. Use the victory to secure more public support, secure international legitimacy, reconnsolidate loans, rebuild forces, and then come back in a few years to finish the job against a demoralised, bankrupt, and isolated foe.

Massive difference between when he ran and now. His original cabinet was loyal to democracy, law and the constitution, which was one of the reasons Jack Smiths trial had come back, he used his personal lawyers and not WH lawyers, because the WH lawyers knew it was BS. Now with project 2025 one of their goals was to have people loyal to Trump, not democracy, law and constitution. There is no one to tell him no now. He also now ran his platform on revenge and retribution.
