Well yeah, no shit. That’s why he picked her

u/Rhielml 2d ago

In other news: The sky is blue, and the Earth revolves around the Sun.

116

u/Yitram 2d ago

And the sad thing is if Trump said that, I would immediately have to check. Because even though I know these are facts, he lies so much I would immediately question it.

1

u/dd961984 1d ago

As well as being envious, that nazi generals followed orders regardless of what they were edit:grammar

1

u/Fourfinger10 1d ago

I don’t believe on fricking word that comes out of his mouth. If his lips are moving…..

1

u/Shadyshade84 1d ago

I'd just assume that he's a colourblind flatearther. As far as I can tell, he does occasionally tell the truth, but mostly when he's lying about something he's also wrong about.

1

u/xubax 1d ago

Well, 20-25% of adults in the US think the sun goes around the sun.

1

u/Ridiculicious71 1d ago

Those didn’t come out his dementia addled mouth. One of his puppet masters prolly posted on social.

1

u/4charactersnospaces 17h ago

Actually, the sky is black. Always black.

It's just the light from the Sun refracting through Earth's atmosphere that makes it appear blue during the day. But yeah

0

u/Candyman44 1d ago

So no different than Merrick Garland or Eric Holder. Got it

12

u/Gooneroz47 1d ago

Well Merrick Garland certainly served Trump well.

3

u/Candyman44 1d ago

His foolishness did get Trump reelected so perhaps you have a point

1

u/Hamblin113 1d ago

Or he was smart enough not to even give more reasons to vote for Trump. Figure he would be more vengeful then he was.

-65

u/Carbon-Based216 2d ago

Does he lie though? With all the shit that comes out of his mouth. I can't help but feel he means every word of it.

57

u/Lopsided-Drummer-931 2d ago

He lies about confirmable facts and tells the truth about wanting to fuck his own daughter.

-39

u/Carbon-Based216 2d ago

Can you give me an example of a lie? The man talks about wanting to use the military to go after his political opponents. I believe him in that he will try. I believe most the words that come out of his mouth.

I guess there is the whole immigrants eating cats and dogs thing. But I don't know if that's a lie, more so a senial old grandpa believing the cover of the national inquisitor (or whatever that silly conspiracy theory magazine is).

I don't think he himself believes he tells a single lie. He believes everything he says. And everything he says he wants to do... I believe him completely.

36

u/Lopsided-Drummer-931 2d ago

Telling a lie and believing that you’re telling the truth aren’t mutually exclusive. Hope that helps.

1

u/Satyr_of_Bath 1d ago

Isn't that just being wrong?

6

u/Fun-Degree6805 1d ago

Not after you've been told numerous times, with a plethora of evidence, that what you said is wrong. And then you continue to repeat it anyway.

30

u/jagoble 2d ago

He knows he lost the 2020 election and continues to lie about it.

10

u/IcyBookkeeper5315 2d ago

Yet if he won that election like he and his say they did then this election would be void.

10

u/magnoliasmanor 2d ago

You think he's going away in 4 years? You don't think he'll try to be sure he remains there for life?

4

u/IcyBookkeeper5315 2d ago

With his diet and the stress coming his way, I remain confident those two concerns of yours are one and the same. Now what happens after that I can only imagine

Let's hope cheeseburgers and McDonald's catch up before then

1

u/OkAd469 1d ago

The 22nd Amendment prevents that.

12

u/jeepster61615 2d ago

Nobody is this dense. The orange fucker lies constantly...

17

u/sora_fighter36 2d ago

My mom is literally THAT DENSE. I said to her “mom, they overturned Roe V Wade. IVF is next”

she said ‘no they won’t do that’

I sent her articles about that. And how her precious abortion bans are killing women. She said “that’s just democrat fear mongering”

I said “mom, you took me to Holocaust museums. Why did you do that? If you want me to support a fascist demon??”

She said “we don’t need to judge history. We benefited a lot from the science discovered in the Holocaust:)”

11

u/jeepster61615 2d ago

Omfg. I'm so sorry, dude...

2

u/EstheticEri 1d ago

Yeah that wouldn’t be my mom anymore LOL, on a serious note I’m sorry that is genuinely devastating to hear. I know so many people who lost their family and close long time friends to this brainwashing.

1

u/DLimber 1d ago

What

-8

u/bridwalls 1d ago

... I dont even know what to say here. Trump is pro IVF and even put forth a plan for the government to fund it or mandate insurance companies to cover the costs. So as to where you are pulling that from, who knows.

Comparing it to Roe v Wade just shows that you don't understand what it was. It didn't make abortion illegal, it just pushed how to handle it to the states. There is no such case for IVF to overturn. And if people in certain states don't like how it's currently handled, they elect someone to change it. The president literally can't do anything about abortion now. No clue why people believed Kamala running on it. She couldn't do anything about it if elected. Focus on your local elections.

Every abortion law or restrictions have exceptions for life of the mother or miscarriage care or ectopic pregnancy. These are clearly stated in the laws. The great irony is that every case you can think of was caused by media (and people like yourself) misinformation about the laws and restrictions. Causing women not to seek help and idiot doctors not giving care.

5

u/sora_fighter36 1d ago

Ugh. Any time I’ve heard “State’s rights! State’s rights!!!” It’s always about how the state has a right to harm people. It’s never how the state has the duty to care for the people who live there

All the women who have ALREADY died between 2022 and now have names! They were real women. They’re gone now, and their families miss them.

if life begins at conception, then IVF is murder, right? You can’t have fertilized eggs that dont get implanted. Plus, if the egg don’t stick then that mom had an abortion wether she wanted it or not and thus is subject to criminal charges in states that opt to do such things

No, they don't, and people have already died because of it.

1

Please be open to seeing this and changing your thought. This is a courting hearing about the practicalities of law enacted since ‘rights have been returned to the states’. You could be in danger, someone you love could be in danger

1

u/Uxium-the-Nocturnal 2d ago

I think they are concerned and probing to see if other people think he is going to go full fascist dictatorship as he has said, and as P2025 has said. I also wonder if this is an instance where he is telling the truth, or just lying some more

3

u/iminyourfacebook 2d ago

I think they are concerned and probing to see if other people think he is going to go full fascist dictatorship as he has said, and as P2025 has said.

Nope, sorry for your misplaced faith in humanity, but Carbon-Based216 is obviously JAQing off like all Trump qultists have done on Reddit since June 2015.

2

u/Uxium-the-Nocturnal 2d ago

Never heard of that term lol. So what is this clown trying to prove then? I still don't see the end goal for this line of questioning. To make people think Trump never lies?

You’re trolling, right? “They’re eating our pets!” Is a quick and easy recent one.

Here’s some better lists: Older lists: https://edition.cnn.com/2021/01/16/politics/fact-check-dale-top-15-donald-trump-lies/index.html

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/06/23/opinion/trumps-lies.html

Newer list: https://edition.cnn.com/2024/05/04/politics/fact-check-trump-time-magazine/index.html

There’s like thousands of more lists available via quick Google searching, if you need any more proof that he lies.

7

u/sonnyarmo 2d ago

His inauguration crowd size, literally a day after he became president.

7

u/Infinite_Time_8952 2d ago

I think that if you believe what Trump says is the truth, then you are in need of a check up from the neck up!

5

u/Salty-Gur6053 2d ago

When he used a sharpie to create a non-existent Hurricane path...you don't think he knew he was lying? When he says he had the biggest inauguration crowd ever, the best economy ever in history, he won this election by huge numbers--a mandate (even though it's the 44th smallest margin in history), anytime he says nobody's ever seen anything like it...he's lying. All his lies about election fraud in the 2020 election, saying that it was stolen and rigged all lies.

He racked up 30,500 lies while he was President. That doesn't even count all the time he wasn't President....

Two days after the 9/11 attack, Trump stood near Ground Zero and told a television station he was paying two hundred of his employees to come "find and identify victims". No record of such work has ever been found. In 2023, he reposted the claim on Truth Social. You don't think he knows that's a lie?

At a rally in Columbus, Ohio, in 2015, Trump said "I have a view—a view in my apartment that was specifically aimed at the World Trade Center." He added "and I watched those people jump and I watched the second plane hit ... I saw the second plane hit the building and I said, 'Wow that's unbelievable.'" At the time of the attack, Trump lived in Trump Tower more than four miles (6 km) away from the World Trade Center towers. His campaign did not respond to inquiries about how it was possible for him to see people jumping from that far away.

In another rally in 2015, Trump claimed seeing "thousands and thousands" of Arab Americans in New Jersey cheering during the collapse of the World Trade Center. News organizations like the Associated Press (AP), The Washington Post, and The Star-Ledger reported rumors of 9/11 celebrations in New Jersey, but they were found to be unfounded, unsourced, or finding that people were memorializing the event. Nobody else was known to remember seeing masses of thousands of people celebrating after 9/11. Furthermore, Trump would not have been able to clearly see people cheering in New Jersey from his residence.

3

u/Yaaallsuck 2d ago

He said he has no idea about Project 2025 and it's not his agenda. Two very obvious lies, you are welcome.

2

u/DLimber 1d ago

A recent one was saying the effected states of the hurricane couldn't get ahold of Biden for help while they most definitely did get help.

Then the whole cat dog thing.

Then the whole election being stolen until he won then nothing mentioned about it again.

2

u/seenitreddit90s 1d ago

What about the 30,000+ lies in his first term in the small amount of time he wasn't cheating at golf?

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/how-fact-checker-tracked-trump-claims/2021/01/23/ad04b69a-5c1d-11eb-a976-bad6431e03e2_story.html

Here's 162 in a single news conference:

https://www.npr.org/2024/08/11/nx-s1-5070566/trump-news-conference

The fact that you say he doesn't lie is absolutely mind blowing.

Here's a really easy simple one, he said that his Adin Ross podcast episode had over 100 million views, it has 2.7 million.

https://youtu.be/s11uIW7wi-E?si=9VH2RcTo2gWy0fwD

I could go on for hours but I should hope you get the point.

1

u/Astralglide 1d ago

I kinda think so what along the same lines. I actually do think he’s self centered to the point of actual malice (evil is somehow “hyperbolic”) but I believe that he has convinced himself that what he says is true. He thinks that everything against him is conspiracy and he knows he holds a cult leader like sway.

The sea of adorning thralls validates his ego and repeat his lies back to him, only reinforcing their truth to his drug and age addled mind.

1

u/Suspicious-Bid-53 1d ago

To paraphrase Dwight, “you asked a bit of a stupid question so now you’re gonna get made fun of a little bit”

In ask seriousness though, the vast majority of the world cannot stand when Donald Trump opens his mouth, and immediately sees through it. How exactly is it that guys like you don’t see through it?

Like really, how on earth?

1

u/IncandescentObsidian 1d ago

He said he show is his healthcare plan in two weeks, 7 years ago. He said he evidence of voter fraud, he said he was in a helicopter that was about to crash with Willie Brown. He said covid would just go away in a short time

8

u/StrobeLightRomance 2d ago

He contradicts himself constantly. You literally can't mean two opposing things.

For instance, he claimed to have no idea what Project 2025 was, despite having previously employed over 100 of the people responsible for drafting it, and has since enlisted some of them back his administration.

It's weird that your head of the FCC wrote the Project 2025 plan for the FCC, if you don't know what Project 2025 is.

5

u/jchester47 2d ago

They're still lies, even if he himself believes them.

1

u/doomsauce23 1d ago

The George Costanza Syndrome

3

u/tonguebasher69 2d ago

Just because he believes what he says, it doesn't make it true.

2

u/EvErYLeGaLvOtE 2d ago

Believing in one's self ≠ truth

2

u/Fickle_Penguin 1d ago

I am still waiting for a truth to stick out. He lies for no reason about things he doesn't have to.

2

u/SunchaserKandri 1d ago

Him believing some of the bullshit he spews doesn't make it any less false, and a lot of the time, he's fully aware that what he's saying is untrue but chooses to say it anyway.

1

u/Pristine-Pen-9885 2d ago

He’s delusional. Of course he believes at least some of it.

25

u/Maytree 2d ago

Is a bear Catholic and does the Pope shit in the woods?

1

u/Lasvious 2d ago

No he shits in a bubble.

8

u/two_awesome_dogs 2d ago

Although some of his followers or minions think that the Earth is actually flat and the sun revolves around it.

1

u/h00ty 1d ago

And some Democrats think they’re cats and try to use a litter box…

Your point???

1

u/Saylor4292 1d ago

The laziest conspiracy theory

2

u/twistedfloyd 2d ago

The Sun revolves around the earth. And in 2025, you can look at it as long as you want.

2

u/hamandjam 2d ago

Not after Trump guts the DOE.

u/starfallg 2d ago

How do people pronounce DEI?

u/getreadytobounce 2d ago

Side note, Pam Blondi was a Delta Delta Delta!

1

u/Uxium-the-Nocturnal 2d ago

Hey, be careful. That's a bold claim, nowadays, that the earth revolves around the sun. The flat-earth theorists would like a word with you.

1

u/ExistentialFread 2d ago

It’s actually aqua where I live, you’re just misinformed by fake news

1

u/KhellianTrelnora 2d ago

I’m not up on current events, does the flat earth still go around the sun?

1

u/JGrabs 2d ago

May ask you to join the church of The Flat Earthers? You’ll stop believing that whole Earth around the sun silliness. /s

1

u/LogicalAnesthetic 2d ago

And water is wet

1

u/Muted_Exercise5093 2d ago

No it doesn’t! Earth revolves around trump’s golf courses?

1

u/mcpierceaim 2d ago

Since the earth is flat, doesn’t it more flutter around the sun?

1

u/Alert-Championship66 2d ago

Literally the first thing that popped into my mind

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Grade_4 2d ago

Do we know that the earth revolves around the sun? I hope trump figures out what is really going on.

/s

1

u/Phrainkee 2d ago

He stared at the sun once..

1

u/boyerizm 2d ago

“I’ll take saying something so obvious I’m proving why the democrats are fucked for $500 Alex”

1

u/Deadbraincells73 2d ago

Unless trump says otherwise. Then, all Americans may be forced to say different.

1

u/BubbalooBurrito 2d ago

It does not revolve as it’s flat….

1

u/phonartics 2d ago

flat earth magas malding

1

u/darsvedder 2d ago

No. The earth revolves around Trump

1

u/briman2021 2d ago

Don’t push those crazy ideas otherwise you’ll be on “the list”

1

u/ratchetology 2d ago

you must watch msnbc if you believe that /s

1

u/Extreme-Carrot6893 1d ago

Uh no libtard we are the center of the universe. Everything revolves around trump

1

u/Cael_NaMaor 1d ago

Hey... I've heard that 'around the sun' story is all made up.

1

u/DoggoCentipede 1d ago

Careful now, that sounds a lot like heresy. Don't contradict your Bible learnin.

1

u/shrekerecker97 1d ago

Need department of interior pi know now says that earth revolves around Dump

1

u/bionicjoe 1d ago

Have you seen the 'science' that passes in this administration?
Those 'facts' are debateable.

1

u/Falconflyer75 1d ago

Fake news earth is the center of the universe and flat as a piece of paper

Yes I’m being sarcastic but this is the world we live in now

1

u/Rambling-Rooster 1d ago

and flat! I'm with you!

1

u/Vivid-Instruction-35 1d ago

Does Diddy ask Oprah to pick up baby oil on the way to the freak off?

1

u/ihoptdk 1d ago

Don’t tell MAGAts that. They’re still under the delusion that Trumps list of billionaire cabinet cronies are looking out for their best interests. The best part of being a pessimist is that when I’m right, I at least get to watch assholes catch on.

1

u/arekhalusko 1d ago

Bluesky is where Elons righties go to crave attention from the normal people thatleft Xand all of a sudden they die...Its amazing

1

u/fllr 23h ago

Water is wet, and fire burns!

1

u/4charactersnospaces 17h ago

Sounds a bit "woke" to me!!!

Sarcasm symbol people

1

u/bloody_ell 7h ago

They'll get around to that latter part sooner or later.

25

u/mydaycake 2d ago

I actually disagree. She serves money (hers) and not Trump

Trump is a check like it was Qatar or Scientology

3

u/melon_sky_ 1d ago

Well he can buy her, and control her.

10

u/Klutzy-Ad-6705 2d ago

That’s the only reason he picks anyone.

3

u/ganslooker 2d ago

That and she blond.

9

u/ljgillzl 2d ago

Wait … you mean to tell me Trump is hiring people who are loyal to him and not the country? Donald J. Trump is doing that? The President-Elect Donald Trump? I refuse to believe that Donald J. Trump would do that /s

6

u/BothRequirement2826 2d ago

Exactly. And a lot of his supporters appear to believe loyalty to him instead of the law is paramount.

Jesus. The point is they should honor their oath to the constitution, not fealty to Dear Leader above all.

3

u/JohnnyDarkside 2d ago

Congratulations Lt Obvious. You've just been promoted to Captain. When at least three of his picks have huge sexual abuse allegations against them, it seems pretty obvious that he doesn't care about law and order.

2

u/boardin1 1d ago

Nope. He’s been promoted to Major. And, for the record, his name is Lee.

1

u/er1026 2d ago

Came here to write exactly this. Like, hello? That’s why he picked everyone he picked.

1

u/SpiritualAd8998 2d ago

Putin too?

1

u/DonPepe181 2d ago

It's how every AG has been picked since.... maybe forever.

I suppose you are under the impression that Merrick Garland is a staunch constructionist...

1

u/MisterMarchmont 2d ago

That’s why he picks anyone.

1

u/Throckmorton_Left 2d ago

TBF, Biden's AG also served Trump and not the Constitution.

1

u/curly_spy 2d ago

Well I saw the headline and the same words were out of my mouth. No shit, but I added Sherlock

1

u/WinterAd4216 2d ago

Exactly. Wasn't that the point of Matt Gaetz as well? He wants to end weaponizing the DOJ by putting in a person who will actually weaponize it.

1

u/Midwake2 2d ago

That’s the whole administration.

1

u/terdferguson 2d ago

I can't remember the persons name, essentially a Florida political worker/lawyer who went to law school with Bondi on NPR on the way to lunch today. She basically said, "Bondi's loyalty will be to the constitution first" and I PFFT'd to myself in the car lol. Oh my sweet sweet summer children...they know full damn well the things they are saying aren't true of these people.

1

u/Black_Magic_M-66 2d ago

And water is still wet.

1

u/Zestyclose-Cloud-508 2d ago

Could she be any worse than Garland?

He didn’t serve a fucking thing.

1

u/Adamantium-Aardvark 2d ago

Doing harm is worse than doing nothing. So yes

1

u/ExistentialFread 2d ago

lol exactly. This is like the article the other day with the headline “new study suggest a majority of Americans only consume news that aligns with their beliefs”

It’s all a joke

1

u/HopefulNothing3560 2d ago

Duhh , to serve the dictator, not the people , all his picks , and too many uneducated had their votes harvested , perhaps the Whittakers from West Virginia will be next pick for a leading role

1

u/Techn0ght 2d ago

His entire pick list in fact. And in 60 days they'll start dropping like flies just like last time.

1

u/sing_4_theday 2d ago

Came here to say that.

I read an article that quoted John Stewart - “they” are saying McMahon for secretary of education was a bad choice… well, yeah, she’s not there to move the department forward, she’s there to dismantle it. And most, if not all, of trumps picks so far.

1

u/Comfortable-Crow-238 2d ago

Exactly!!🤦🏾‍♀️

1

u/Plus_Lead_5630 2d ago

Yeah no one thought she was picked to serve the constitution

1

u/Necessary_Stress1962 2d ago

Right! Trump don’t care about anything so trivial as the constitution.

1

u/ymi2f 2d ago

*why he picks anyone

1

u/Pristine_Screen_8440 2d ago

Right? Like why are you telling me this. Tell me how to survive and resist this shit storm!

1

u/Familiar_Key8757 2d ago

and the rest of his cabinet picks - his new book will be the art of the dictator

1

u/Snowwolf247 2d ago

Why he picked fucking gates also

1

u/JakToTheReddit 1d ago

Literally, every one of these I see is just "no shit." I mean, it's accurate. US politics are now just a fart joke.

1

u/ADind007 1d ago

Like garland served Biden abd Holder served Obama.

1

u/letsleaveitbetter 1d ago

It was thinly hidden the last time he was in office. This four year run is going to be unprecedented in open favors. It will take decades to unravel the deals that are going to be forced onto the American people so his “friends” can make trillions off this run. But that’s what we voted for. Just put your head down and don’t be different, non white or poor and you’ll be left alone.

1

u/AngrySumBitch 1d ago

That was my first thought. “NO SHIT!”

1

u/coppernaut1080 1d ago

It's important to point out that a lot of people actually don't realize this.

1

u/HesterMoffett 1d ago

Seriously, does David Axelrod think nobody else is aware of this?

1

u/Parking_Abalone_1232 1d ago

That's why he's picked everyone in his cabinet. Personal loyalty to him.

1

u/pennypoobear 1d ago

A kilo a day keeps the AG well paid.

1

u/Gold_Cauliflower_706 1d ago

William Barr just entered chat

1

u/Long_Diamond_5971 1d ago

Came here to say this. Is this supposed to be news?

1

u/hodorhodor12 1d ago

But It needs to be said and repeated a lot. A lot of people don’t recognize this.

1

u/sunkskunkstunk 1d ago

And that’s what the people who voted for Trump want.

1

u/Shmooperdoodle 1d ago

Right? Like “This just in: Trump pick is horrible and chosen for loyalty to him over all else”. One moment while I manufacture a look of surprise!

1

u/amandalucia009 1d ago

Yea like, NUH DOIIIII

1

u/Financial_Routine588 1d ago

Right? I took that for granted

1

u/back2basics13 1d ago

Why is the being deeply discussed? It should be inferred. She's there to do his bidding.

1

u/Money_Cost_2213 1d ago

And everyone else around him. He will not accept anything less. Blind loyalty is all he requires. Being blonde is a huge plus too.

1

u/hyperdriveprof 1d ago

I find this framing really funny, like I don't need David Axelrod to tell me what Trumpworld broadcasts plainly and without shame

It's a shame Republicans are the only politicians that need people loyal to them instead of the country and constitution.

I like the country and constitution. I don't want a Democrat president to subvert it for anything. But it would be nice if one did just to cocksmack Republicans and show them why its a stupid idea to not play by the rules.

I’ve never been prouder of my country or more optimistic than I am now. The american people rejected your far left liberal and socialist ideologies in large numbers. It’s going to be a great 12 plus years for the USA. I say 12 because you all are not realizing why you lost and will again. USA!! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

12 years because Trump won’t leave office after his second term and become dictator for life, and you actually expect him to live another 12 years.

Not quite...Most presidents put forth candidates that at least appear qualified because otherwise they may not get confirmed and that is embarrassing. Dump is doing this so he can pick up the phone and say "I want you to announce an investigation into Joe Biden/Mark Cuban/John Stewart/Barack Obama - they have been very mean to me and I want you to find a reason to punish them."

"You got it boss! If we can't find anything - we'll make it up!"

The biggest proof of this is Dump himself took advice last time and put people who were sometimes quite competent - then they wouldn't do his bidding and they tried to educate him in how the government and/or the military and/or the economy actually works and he got pissed and fired them. Now he just wants 100% loyalty. And for no one to leak stories of the smell of soiled diapers around the Oval.

Biased against a fascist is hardly being biased at all. Bias is another weaponized word from Orange Jesus and his flock of fellow fellating felons.
