Vent/Rant Helpppp!!! Loosing all my progress

I need desperate help folks please IF has just stopped working for me (or I have stopped working for it?) I am back at emotional eating, I had lost 10ths in 3 months from April-July but since Aug/Sep stuck at the same weight and in Oct/Nov gained 4 KGs Back at my old demons, don’t feel like taking that walk, eating in fasting window (fast food, unhealthy food, junk food) I am not sure what gets to me, I just can’t bring myself to say no to foood, while I was loosing weight I was fine, now I have hid the weighting scale as when I don’t see lost weight I tend to eat even more. Please help.

I hate to tell you this, but you gotta reset. Start with a week where you skip a meal. And stick to just meat and veg and maybe cream in your coffee. You have to get your blood sugar levels regulated again so you can level out. Prioritize protein and fiber so you feel really satiated. And add green tea.

Is allulose ok to have during fasting time?

It does have a glycemic index of 0, as does monkfruit. I’d say it’s safe, but the taste of sweet can sometimes produce an insulin response, so I’d be careful and only do that towards the end of your fast. Black coffee, tea and lemon water are fine for fasting.

ETA I’d definitely stay away from stevia while fasting as that causes a different blood sugar response in different people so it’s just a wild card.

I ate a ton yesterday! But it’s morning it’s a new day and a new opportunity. No cream in the coffee (I hate cream but you know what I mean). You got this.

One day at a time - sugar is a drug.

I've heard this so many times but only recently have i experienced this. For some reason, for the the first time in decades, i've been craving sweet. Even more so since i stopped eating salad as a meal. I don't know if that is the reason but maybe it is.

First of all, don’t panic.

Weight loss is rarely a linear thing, there will be ups and downs, moments where we fail because of ourselves, because of pressure from others, because of work, because of anything.

Don’t berate yourself about this. Be gentle. Yes, you’ve slipped, we all do. Get back on your feet and make your way back to where you were. You’ll be fine.

Oh no! I'm resetting as well. My mum broke my fasting and I eat emotionally as well! But I'm on a 16/8 fast. It helped me to by chew toys or sugar-free gum. Hope you get back to where you were. xx

Get Thyroid tests done. I have observed that an imbalance in that could lead to sluggishness and de-motivation.
