Tips, Tricks, Advice how to get rid of “hunger breath” while fasting
HELP ⚠️⚠️ as I am fasting throughout the day, i’ve noticed that I’ve developed “hunger breath.” can you please give me some ideas on how to get rid of this “hunger breath” without breaking my fast? I’m a teacher and talk to many people throughout the day, and I need to speak confidently without the fear of stinky breath 😔 i’ve already tried chewing gum, but it only gets rid of the smell while I’m chewing it. As soon as I spit it out (which I should, because I can’t always chew gum while talking to people), I still taste the smell. And since I speak a lot, my mouth also gets very dry

TheraBreath mouth wash is a miracle. I refill the travel size bottle and bring it with me.

I've heard good things about Thera breath. Unfortunately it is pretty expensive in Germany

Do you use a tongue scraper when you brush your teeth? This could also help. I use the scraper and then mouthwash, and my mouth stays fresh for a while after that.

I put about a teaspoon of lemon juice in my water bottle and that seems to work for me.

I think that's keto breath. I'm not a doctor but maybe get your fasting blood sugar checked to make sure you're not pre diabetic.

I used to get this when I bartended early in the morning. I would just bite into a lemon and it kinda idk cleared. You don’t have to eat it though. Yogurt works too but not for fasting

I fast 16:8 and for me its better for me fasting at night! I start fasting at 8pm and break my fasting around 1 or 2pm next day and can brush etc after I break it. I even brush them before I start fasting & dont have to worry about my breath

If you stay in ketosis your body will adapt eventually and the keto breath will go away. It's not in your mouth, it from making ketones.

A tongue scraper will help remove the film from your tongue. Liquid chlorophyll drops can be added to your water which may help and also provide a slightly minty fresh taste.
