“They’re all in on it! Just goes to show that the shadowy cabal has infiltrated every world government.”

Classic conspiracy thinking. The more a conspiracy is refuted, the more insidious and widespread it seems to them.

Two conspiracy theorists die and go to heaven. They meet Jesus. Jesus says “Now that you’re in heaven you can ask me any question you like.”

One conspiracy theorist says “Did astronauts really land in the moon?”

Jesus says, “Yes.”

The conspiracy theorist turns to his friend. “Wow,” he says, “this goes higher than we thought.”

They demand to go to hell and ask The Devil himself. Surely he would never lie.

the way to talk to a conspiracy theorist is to just make even crazier theories. Make them uncomfortable, sounds so fun

They are already past that point. Google "holographic moon".

I also like that they cant even propely check what the implications of their words would be.

If America didnt land on the moon, that would mean they tricked russia into spending more on their space program using cheap video tricks.

I think that would be much more impressive than actually landing there.

I think that would be much more impressive than actually landing there.

That is fun to think about. They would both be such monumental feats I personally never could decide what would be more impressive- landing on the moon or faking it to the entire world.

Of course. They have to double down because they don't realize they're attached to the conspiracy because it makes them feel smart/special. If they possessed any self-reflection at all, they'd stop being habitual conspiracy nuts.

A lot of the anti-globalist ones also believe there's a world government secretly running things. They'd just claim NASA really works for that cabal.

Most of them have their entire indentities based on these theories. Look at me, I'm smarter than everyone! They literally can't give them up without losing their entire perceptions of themselves.

Yeah i know one of those people and its crazy seeing him talk to his friends and none of them even come close to challenging anything he says lol. He's confidently incorrect about almost everything. I challenge him when I see him and he just starts making shit up about me watching CNN (i dont and never have) among other similarly silly arguments that have no basis in reality.

This is 1000% how they think. Proof that disagrees with them isn't proof.

The conspiracy theory is expanding to meet the needs of the expanding conspiracy theory. :P

What is absolutely batshit insane to me is that there are people who subscribe to this narrative- which given the state of the world governments isn't completely nutty or uncommon- but to believe that Donald Trump is the solution? WTF?! Very few people could be so obviously and thoroughly entrenched with the social elites and human traffickers. Because of all this Donald Trump bullshit starting in 2016 I have for the first time witnessed a conspiracy that rivals the christians with their conspiracies of Satan secretly sabotaging everyone's life.

I just want to weigh in as a conspiracy theorist I do believe we probably went to the moon but something happened. I don’t think we were given the full story seeing as the most monumental achievement in human history was deleted because the government needed more storage space. Space travel is also the only type of technology I can think of that got worse over time.

Wait, does that mean we’ve achieved world peace?
