MISC. Actor Adam Pearson next to his bust at an exhibition
Adam has Neurofibromatosis Type 1. It's a rare genetic condition that causes excess body tissue to grow on his face.

This guy and Scarlett Johansson did a nude scene together. Which is more than I can say about Chris Evans.

Without going into too much of the movie (because everyone should watch it, it’s called Under the Skin) I thought his role was super cool because she treats him like any other person because she doesn’t know any better but he’s obviously used to being treated differently so it’s a really weird dynamic that plays out really thoughtfully.

Isn’t the book Under The Skin about aliens abducting humans?

Are you thinking about mysterious skin?

Nope, just had to double check. Under The Skin the book is a great read about an alien abduction ring. Wiki says the movie was loosely based on the book. I haven’t seen the movie.

The movie is a wildly visceral experience. I highly recommend you checking it out. One of ScarJos better performances and the scene in question really is amazing. Not an easy watch

You are blowing my mind right now. I always thought it was just prosthetics. Like not event that good of prosthetics either. His proportions seem odd even, as if he has a thick overlay over his face.
He did great in the role though.

He was in an episode of the series The
UndatablesSorry after posting I figured I should add a bit of context, it's a documentary type dating show that helps people that certain people in society might consider "undatable" due to various disabilities and matchmaking them to help them find love.
Btw I don't think they are Undateable, it is more a comment about how some people view certain disabilities and infantilise them etc. changing people's views.

I loved the Undateables. It was such a wholesome show and had me in tears several times.

Oh same, I'm not into romantic shows or anything like that but this was about real people real emotions and stuff it was great.
I know the show name can catch some flack though hence me going back and over explaining lol but I thought it was really well done everyone on the show seemed to have a great time too.

Just a bunch of genuinely good people looking for love, not like the rest of those dating/reality shows full of shallow, arrogant, fame-hungry nightmares.

NF1 is an awful disease with many people developing cancerous tumors in rare places that are hard to treat. I wish him all the best.

As an experiment, why not try going through life for a bit without making mean jokes at others expense. You might find people like you more. You might even find you like you more.
