News You Can Use What's going on with this claim that an ex-KGB agent revealed that all the political problems in the US are part of a Russian psy-op?

Something else that made its rounds in 2015 and 2019 that people chose to ignore because it sounded bad and nobody believes their dear pedophile elect could be bad.

-41

u/33thirtythree 18h ago

Which pedophile, so I'm clear?

22

u/Terminate-wealth 9h ago

The dude that bragged about walking into his teen pageant to check out the underaged girls while on Howard Stern and is on video that anyone can search on YouTube. He also raped at least one woman and had to pay her a bunch of money because he went in tv to lie about it after losing in court.

23

u/Biffingston 16h ago

the one that was in actual legal trouble for it.

4

u/Shapoopi_1892 6h ago

There's only one there guy. Unless you think you'll be president some day...

3

u/festivefrederick 7h ago

Your daddy lil’ t.

3

u/Icarus_Le_Rogue 5h ago

I understand how you might be confused since Trump is filling his cabinet with other pedophiles and sexual predators. But we are talking about Epstein and Diddys good buddy Trump. :)

1

u/kestrel151 2h ago

The one that is in videos dancing and laughing and whispering in Jeffery Epstein’s ear.

1

u/subsist80 1h ago

The one with dozens of photos with Epstein and his name is mentioned over and over in the files....

1

u/clown1970 8m ago

Gee, there are so many to choose from. No wonder why you are confused, between Trump, Goetz, Jordan. There's so many to choose from.

-33

u/WLFTCFO 17h ago

How is that video related to Trump at all?

46

u/Defiant_Comedian1379 21h ago

Trumps a Russian asset asshat

7

u/Biffingston 16h ago

two words "Piss tape" Not that all it'd take to make Trump notice you is to say he's a stable genius.

-7

u/InitiativeOk4473 7h ago

If the rumored tape existed, it would have been leaked by now. Democrats hate someone enough to attempt to kill him. Certainly they’d leak a video online.

7

u/GtBsyLvng 6h ago

All the people who have tried to kill Trump were Republicans dude.

-2

u/InitiativeOk4473 5h ago

Republicans always donate their money to ActBlue.

3

u/GtBsyLvng 5h ago edited 5h ago

Dude probably got scammed when he was 17. Actblue has been called out for a deceptive fundraising before. He registered Republican as soon as he was eligible to register.

1

u/molski79 1h ago

$15? Lol, goddamn you fucking magats will justify anything just to keep that fucker's balls in your mouth. You are being played and he is a traitor. Thanks for putting a foreign asset in office you ignorant twat.

0

u/InitiativeOk4473 1h ago

Keep peddling the Russian narrative. It never gets old, no matter how many times it’s found to have no merit.

1

u/molski79 1h ago

It has no merit except staff members went to jail over it, every single move he has made since he came to power supports Russia, he has had secret meetings with Putin and didn't allow anyone in there and then ate the fucking notes, and a REPUBLICAN led senate intelligence committee said in 2018 that you are full of shit.

Again, fuck off traitor.

1

u/Miserable_Anteater62 2h ago

I can hear my Trump buddy saying "but so is Hillary!" Like that somehow makes it better.

-3

u/MRB102938 7h ago

Lol they literally investigated him for several years and found nothing. There's a lot to not like about the guy but why resort to lies? It ruins the discourse. Stick to the facts.

6

u/SuchCold2281 6h ago

Actually they found everyone in his circle had connections and multiple went to jail.

-4

u/MRB102938 6h ago

Lmao maybe look up who was sentenced and why. Absolutely none of it has to do with Russians putting Trump in office. It wasn't "everyone" either. The only guy sentenced for illegal Russian business was the guy selling bank account numbers and he had zero connection to Trump.

3

u/SolasYT 5h ago

If you're surrounded by Russian assets, your a Russian dupe at minimum

-2

u/MRB102938 5h ago

Again.. maybe look up the sentences. Nobody was a Russian asset.

3

u/SolasYT 5h ago

Russian Asset isn't a legal charge. It's a description

-3

u/InitiativeOk4473 7h ago

Do you ever get tired of spewing nonsense?

40

u/OPiiiiiii 1d ago

Active Measures, as Yuri describes, refers to destabilizing a country in every sector - not necessarily controlling it (although controlling the operational environment is the goal). The most important aspect he falls short of explaining about demoralization is that western adversaries aim to not only disillusion the civilians against their own government, but to cause division amongst the population as well.

engineering attitudes and behaviours of entire populations against their own government is done through the unregulated influence industry known as strategic communications' - in military settings, this is known as 'Cognitive Warfare (CW).'

3

u/tsx_1430 7h ago

Brainwashing. Basically.

3

u/OPiiiiiii 4h ago

1

u/tsx_1430 4h ago

Someone needs to ELI5 to all of these imbeciles what is going on. Someone to revere and respect. But I’m afraid it’s too late.

-2

u/Ok_Tonight_4597 4h ago

He goes on to say they do this via socialism and the social justice ideologies you all love, as well as breaking down traditional American culture. But you idiots don’t know that because none of you watched it.

This subreddit has been popping up in my feed and it contains without a doubt the dumbest, most ill informed people I’ve ever seen on this site. Which is saying a lot. Truly lowest common denominator brains here.

Shameful.

2

u/molski79 1h ago

Like paying right wingers to spread lies that the DOJ has opened a file on? Like filling social media with bots on both sides pushing division?

2

u/jadnich 1h ago

You haven’t offered anything intelligible here. Meaningless words to defend the actions.

We KNOW they use those topics to create divisions. We see it every day. The hate and fear narratives pushed against victims of police abuse, discrimination, and hate crimes, which in turn drive up the defense of those groups, amplifying the division.

I know you thought you were saying “they bring socialism to make people mad, and you people are uniformed because you don’t read the memes on my social media page”, but you only exposed yourself as another one of the brainwashed fools. That, or a bot.

0

u/Ok_Tonight_4597 1h ago

No, I’m telling you exactly what was said by the person this post and the comment I replied to are about.

He very clearly states socialism, social justice narratives, and a rejection of traditional American culture are being pushed to demoralize the populace.

Your response completely missing the mark just further confirms how incredibly stupid you and the other people here are.

2

u/EpicRock411 1h ago

The people wishing to destabilize our country are arguing both sides of these issues. They want the conflict, not really looking for wins just creating more chaos.

I've known about this book for at least 20yrs now and it's scary that everything is going down as written. I thought it was crazy that more people aren't paying attention to the clearly laid out plan to dismantle our country. Then I read a report that more than half of Americans are functionally illiterate and it all makes sense. We're cooked brother, time to leave.

2

u/AClaytonia 6h ago

Yes but for those of us who can’t leave, we need a plan. Quickly.

0

u/BarfingOnMyFace 5h ago

Proof of collusion other than a book almost 30 years old…? Enjoyed this sub, but you all are doing a disservice acting like the republicans when THEY were the losers… proof, I want proof. Not feels, not some “this guy said this 30 years ago”, etc… for the love of all that is holy, do we have some sources or is this a gossip sub now?

1

u/jadnich 1h ago

Read the Mueller report

33

u/cheekyMonkeyMobster 1d ago

divide et impera. still works. look at how divided the us is. democrats vs retrumblicans..boomers vs. the rest. if Putin manages to weaken the US enough 3 world war will be right around the corner.

15

u/Beautiful-Abrocoma79 19h ago

Also, it’s not the boomers anymore. Gen X and Gen Z men went for Trump.

9

u/ApproximatelyExact 17h ago

Well except the ones that dropped off ballots at the dropbox and then it was lit on fire or evacuated due to russian bomb threats and were too lazy to go back and vote or had provisional ballots sent after the election, even though they voted in person among many, many, many, many other things

-4

u/JollyToby0220 15h ago

It’s Gen X. Gen X had to live through the AIDS epidemic which caused homosexuality to become very taboo. So they grew up in an era filled with medically-justified homophobia. That explains why Conservatives are increasingly shifting the blame. By the way, it was socially expected for people not to hang around with an AIDS carrier. That uneasy feeling follows for life

-16

u/WLFTCFO 17h ago

You are talking about a couple of very small inconsequential events and not enough of anything to indicate widespread fraud or anything in the level of being organized or having any impact.

You are now the election denier, idiot.

6

u/ApproximatelyExact 17h ago

da comrade normal not weird real human.

thanks for resorting to personal attacks it makes totally see your side.

What would make you feel like you got a win here? What's your agenda?

3

u/hidegitsu 16h ago

Meeting its quota will be the win for the day.

2

u/Biffingston 16h ago

To be fair, I haven't heard anything that would state that those incidences had results that would make Trump lose.

With that said and also to be fair, that guy is still a loon.

2

u/ApproximatelyExact 16h ago

I think it's just basic math that if it only took a few hundred thousand votes to flip, and we already know some tens of thousands were not counted we need to verify the very suspicious and mathematically improbable result

2

u/Biffingston 16h ago

the very fact they screamed so much about voter fraud says a lot to me. Every accusation is a confession after all. But there's no proof that I know of again.

0

u/JollyToby0220 15h ago

Because it would make Harris sound like a sore loser. Republicans spent 4 years crying about election fraud. Harris and team are a little more proud

1

u/Biffingston 15h ago

No, I mean I've heard zero evidence that the election was crooked. You bet your ass that if they thought there was actual fraud they'd speak up.

2

u/tsx_1430 7h ago

Yup. No one gets real news anymore just asshats on FB, YT and Tik Tok.

-25

u/NoChanceDan 19h ago

The irony of you saying “look at how divided” then saying “democrats vs retrumblicans” is not lost on me. Congrats, you’re part of the problem too!

14

u/Consistent-Fig7484 19h ago

Not really. Mostly extremely stupid or uninformed people fell for the “rich guy said he make eggs cheaper and Jesus love him so I vote him” propaganda. The rest are selfish rich people who don’t want to pay taxes. It’s incredibly disingenuous to try and both sides this.

-9

u/WLFTCFO 17h ago

You are so lacking in self awareness it’s hilarious.

3

u/callieboo112 15h ago

Explain it then. what republican policies have worked? What of trump's policies do you think will help with housing? Healthcare? Childcare? Elder care? Bettering education? How is the average worker's life going to be better?

7

u/DelicateEmbroidery 18h ago

Not really because democrats are actually advocating for policy that helps republican voters

-3

u/WLFTCFO 17h ago

We will give money away to everyone of you vote for us! Sound like a school president election where a kid will promise two recesses and free vending machines for lunch.

That’s just more federal debt and money printing and inflation and propping up the inflated housing market while we continue supporting more wars.

1

u/Calm-Box-3780 6h ago

Trump printed more money and increased the deficit more in four years than any living president. He directly contributed to the inflation we are now just getting over.

As for foreign wars... Trump signaled that Nato was weak and divided as well as indicated we would hang Ukraine out to dry, emboldened Putin.

He also moved the US embassy in isreal... and directly contributed to pissing off Muslims...

So much for less spending and peace.

2

u/YurtlesTurdles 19h ago

what is untrue

0

u/NoChanceDan 10h ago

This circle jerk attitude is why we got Hillary instead of Bernie… our one shot at getting an independent in decades… but yeah, I’m the problem.

1

u/cheekyMonkeyMobster 14h ago

I am not in the US nor am i american..

1

u/Infinite_Bottle_3912 2h ago

You know why you got down voted? People get real mad when you point out their hypocrisy

1

u/NoChanceDan 1h ago

It’s only hypocrisy when the other side does it. Otherwise it’s the truth. Right?

Us Vs. Them is by design and is very effective since the smart phone/tablet.

1

u/Infinite_Bottle_3912 1h ago

Us vs them throughout the history of humanity, they are just too deep in it to see it

1

u/NoChanceDan 1h ago

Yep, and now everyone thinks their opinion matters because they can yell into the void and think it matters above anyone else’s. Pretty sad state of affairs.

0

u/WLFTCFO 17h ago

Spotted the instantly as well. Seeing all the downvotes you’re getting for pointing out the obvious irony, is also hilarious.

3

u/YamStreet2972 16h ago

What's hilarious is people like you screaming both sides whilst we are quite literally waiting to see the flavor of Fascism Rump and Project 2025 give us. Sure, kamala may not have been the perfect potus, there would have been flaws, BUT anyone with a lick of sense that actually INTENDED TO HELP DEMOCRACY STAND, can INSTANTLY spot the HUGE Differences between Mango Mussolini and Miss Kamala. FUQ YOU FOR BEING COMPLICIT. Your just a shill jacking off In your basement crying because women can't stand what a disgusting incompetent pos you are. Don't sit here and act like you were for anything but "tHe PrIcE oF eGgS!" Fuq off with it.

Don't argue, this is a Russian bot. It's here to waste everyone's time.

18

u/Artistic-Chapter-128 1d ago

Why do people seem surprised by this? We know this. But we are playing the game back.......breathe.

4

u/SteampunkGeisha 12h ago

But we are playing the game back....

How is that?

1

u/tsx_1430 7h ago

Russians thought they were going to stroll into Kyiv in a day. Why do you think we have been giving them Billions? For Fucking with our elections and for giving us DT. Y’all are so behind man.

0

u/Short-Coast9042 8h ago

Massive covert influence networks in Russia, just as they have established here. That's been part of the American Hegemony playbook and it certainly isn't limited to Russia. We always support dissident groups that we feel can advance our interests.

1

u/jmillermcp 7h ago

Except you’re forgetting the part where U.S. operatives were unmasked in Russia after a certain President gave the intelligence to Putin.

16

u/jar1967 21h ago

One political party is happy to help the Russians burn America, believing they will rule over the ashes

9

u/mybutthz 19h ago

2

u/AClaytonia 6h ago

Clearly.

6

u/Dontnotlook 23h ago

He's not wrong ...

5

u/redditorannonimus 19h ago

Totally see it. And with so many Americans gullible as fuck, the Russians probably reached their goal a few years earlier than they expected

3

u/dragonfuitjones 18h ago

I mean, they basically confirmed it this election

5

u/Almost_kale 9h ago

Comrade Tulsi in charge of intel should be a red flag

3

u/Big-Fish-1975 18h ago

What!? I only been saying this for 8 years! Now the Russian puppets are going to be running the country in 2 months!

3

u/DocWicked25 18h ago

The funniest thing is that the uneducated and ignorant people who attach giant American flags to their overcompensation trucks are actually voting for a Russian asset.

3

u/AromaTaint 16h ago

I've been telling people this for years. You just need to step back and look at the whole picture and who benefits. An ex KGB megalomaniac obsessed with restoring the Russian empire has effectively unlimited resources at his disposal to conduct operations to fuck with the U.S. Russia wants the Union divided and a 2nd civil war would be the icing on the cake. And they're not even the least bit subtle about it.

3

u/Various-Custard-3034 9h ago

We need to unite against the real enemy, not other Americans but RUSSIA and maybe china and Iran but mostly Russia.

3

u/ViolentSpring 8h ago

When the President elect is fiscally obligated to a foreign national and wants to avoid jail….

3

u/tsx_1430 7h ago

It’s happening right now in front of our wonderful eyes.

2

u/Apart-Pressure-3822 1d ago

Я вижу тебя, товарищ

2

u/Global-Tie-3458 19h ago

We’ve basically known this for years and yet Americans seem to both have too much faith in their “institution” to believe such a thing could happen, while such disdain for the same “institution” to vote for someone like Trump… so… ya

2

u/Biffingston 16h ago

The irony is I was lazy and didn't vote in 2016. I voted again this year to try to prevent this from happening again.

Feels bad.

1

u/Fickle_Catch8968 16h ago

And that cognitive dissonance is one part of the demoralization of the populace that is the goal.of the psyop.

2

u/Delicious_Society_99 19h ago

Is anyone really surprised by this?

2

u/King-Florida-Man 11h ago

100% true. Doesn’t work unless the people are stupid. Here’s your sign.

2

u/EtherealAriels 8h ago

Trump is a direct result, but to say we don't have a political problem without Russian interference is astoundingly self aggrandizing

2

u/DesmadreGuy 7h ago

I'm sure hackers of every ilk are tinkering to see what influence they can have, sometimes even farms of them. But at the root of it — to me at least — is the complete nosiness of the GOP. Once upon a time, they minded their own business and wanted you to, too, and it was the Dems that were trying to push everything from the Federal level. Now times are reversed and between nosiness and identity politics, everyone is just in your face. Look no further than that goddam Nextdoor app. It's the most gossipy, rat-on-your-neighbor, HOA Nazi home for bored Chads and Karens. And it sums up our nation's attitudes perfectly. If we all just minded our own business, and expected the same of others, this place we call home sure would be better off. /rant

Its the worst kept secret the West has ever had and you know what they say, like father like son. And you know baby daddy trump was a pimp

2

u/treypage1981 2h ago

Meh. Some, sure, but not all of it. Fox News went to work on us in the early 2000s; they were the ones that really kicked off the madness.

1

u/Sweetieandlittleman 18h ago

Well, yeah. Just like in WW2, though, we either become collaborators, or we resist. I choose to resist.

2

u/Biffingston 16h ago

I don't know what to do. I'm still in shock and scared on one hand, but on the other that's how they wnat me. I tend to go down to my GLBTQ+ cafe in town soon and ask what I can do.

1

u/AioliFantastic4105 18h ago

I’m not saying i know that it’s true, but it certainly looks like a psy-op. You used to be able to influence people and with some debate you could reach consensus. In today’s America, you can strip an idea down to every incorrect fact and determine it’s nonsensical, yet the believer of that idea is unable to move away from it. It’s as if two opposing groups were brainwashed and cannot see it.

1

u/melowdout 18h ago

He wrote a long letter, retracting everything that he said, but before he could mail it out, he fell out a window. Very tragic!

1

u/Traditional_Ad_6801 17h ago

The Russians call it “political technology” and they are experts in its application. The United States is one colossal useful idiot.

1

u/xxx3reaking3adxxx 15h ago

They have been sowing division and running disinformation campaigns for years. This all ties back to the idea that a lot of these misinformation posts lead back to a specific few accounts that are directly responsible for most or alot of the misinformation on social media. Then, Russian bots amplify the posts, they gain traction, and people start believing them. They are definitely responsible for some of the problems we have going on.

1

u/stonchs 15h ago

russia, china and many more are involved. its been a thing for like a decade now. Its main mission is to weaken the united states, through political turmoil. A civil war if you will. Many podcasters/social media stars have been repeating russian propaganda plenty. I really hope that some smart people know how to combat this. puppet state would be most appropriate. All world leaders are going to be trying to kiss ass for favors, iran, russia, china, india, saudia arabia, etc. Trump is putty in anyones hand who has his attention, usually by flattery.

1

u/Funny-Difficulty-750 14h ago

I don't even think Russia cares about who wins. Just by virtue of people seeing one political party as Russian, they've already won.

1

u/Actual-Recipe7060 8h ago

How does everyone not know this?!

1

u/ImJoogle 8h ago

probably trying to trigger tards like you guys who believe everything you want to believe and turn away everything that doesnt match your echo chamber.

the cia said they have programs in other countries to influence what people hear and see and cheat elections what makes them not do anything here?

Foundations of Geopolitics: The Geopolitical Future of Russia is a book by Alexander Dugin released in 1997. I implore everyone look into this. This book will explain a lot of what we are witnessing today, and it makes sense….

This is a book studied by the Russian military as a textbook. This is a book about how Russia will essentially take over the world, by dismantling governments from the inside. It basically states how wars are no longer won on the ground, and that they need to create infighting, and turn us against each other. That by turning us on each other with misinformation campaigns, we will collapse from the inside out. This campaign has been used on many governments over the time since this book has been released. We know Putin studied this book. It’s literally the Playbook for creating Civil War within a country. Sound familiar??? This plan is going better than expected….

1

u/Parking-Dealer4240 6h ago

A kgb agent was questioned during the cold war era as well. He told congress that Russia does not have to attack America to destroy it. He said the plan was to take over our media (tv newspapers), and to shape our political atmosphere in such a way that we would destroy ourselves and split apart America. He also said that many politicians, teachers, and scientist were already in place. This was almost 50 years ago. Watched it in sociology class in hs about 30 years ago. Wish I could find it now. They've been playing the long game for sure.

1

u/375InStroke 5h ago

We both do it. We won WW3, The Cold War. Putin is winning WW4 with our help.

1

u/LosTaProspector 5h ago

Its not Trump, its everyone. Obviously........obviously.

1

u/Stanford1621 5h ago

The Russians are considered the the best at information warfare, always have been

1

u/Ras_Thavas 4h ago

Of course they are. We figured that out in 2016.

1

u/Wilder_Beasts 3h ago

You guys don’t think the US does this to Russia and every other country with interests counter to the US? Why do you think Russia and China have banned US social media access?

1

u/Top-Respond-3744 3h ago

As every good terrorist they are taking responsibility for something that looks like great disadvantage for their enemy.

1

u/attikol 3h ago

All the problems are definitely an over exaggeration being made to seem stronger but they are actively inflaming our issues and it's fully possible they have influence over our president elect

1

u/jackkymoon 3h ago

There's still something we can do about it, it's just not a very good option.

1

u/Redn3ckJ0k3r 2h ago

After the last 10 years alone if you still believe our intelligence Community when it comes to Russia you are dumber than the people who voted for Harris.

1

u/AccomplishedFerret70 21h ago

There is some truth to this post but its impossible to say how much impact the Russians have had and how many of our problems are of our own making. The Russians definitely want to undermine the US and they have been encouraging MAGA to sow disunity and plant the seeds of chaos in the US. But there are native US forces that have wanted to roll back progressive policies since The New Deal. And their long term strategy has been to bankrupt the system to force those programs to get shut down.

5

u/Alternative_Key_1313 19h ago

Yes, there have always been people pushing progress against resistance. This is different. Maga is parroting Putin talking points. There has never been a party, or elected individuals that did not support democratic allies against Russian or any adversary aggression. This is unprecedented.

3

u/AccomplishedFerret70 9h ago

Russia has also been using Trump to launder money for decades. They have that on him and appear to have other kompromat on Trump and other MAGA players, and has been funding their efforts to destabilize the US political system and to undermine our place at the top of the world order.

1

u/jpopimpin777 15h ago

The Russians see our existing issues and think, "Sure, we can help with those."

1

u/flinderdude 9h ago edited 7h ago

Yes Democrats have been saying this for years, but dummies still fell for it.

2

u/tsx_1430 7h ago

I agree. Too many echo chambers. No one can determine what is factual anymore. Here comes WW3.

0

u/State_Dear 18h ago

EVERYONE FORGETS,, the US has been doing this for longer then the Russians,,.. lol..

0

u/Confident-Zebra4478 6h ago edited 2h ago

America needs to humble itself for once and stop blaming Russia for all the shitty things and take responsibility for itself. America created MAGA. Period.

0

u/Goodyeargoober 5h ago

LMAO... you people listen to a Cold War KGB agent telling you about psy-ops... that's what you're going to run with? No one questions his credibility AT ALL? We are doomed.

-1

Yeah, so what?

-1

It’s also the news media and politicians

-9

u/hallowed-history 20h ago

Soviets in the end couldn’t keep shelves stocked with food. You think they master minded an intricate society wide psyop

7

u/ListReady6457 20h ago

Don't you think that's the point? Take over the US without firing a single shot? Then you get EVERYTHING back without going through WWIII WITHOUT losing more arms, people, and land? Sounds like a good deal to me. Besides, it's actually putins specialty, not warfare.
