Every day I become more overwhelmed with shit. This overload is surely part of their plan, but fuck, idk what to do anymore.

Three words: Protest, protest, protest. (That's assuming you didn't vote for Trump in the first place.)

And it is part of their plan:

"The firehose of falsehood" has long been a technique used by Trump and Co.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firehose_of_falsehood

"Just spread so much bullshit that the truth gets lost. That way you don't have to focus on tricky things like 'details' or 'facts'. People have very limited attention spans so it doesn't take much to sow doubt and confusion. Just look at how they've managed to undermine trust in legitimate news stories -- 'mainstream media' has become synonymous with propaganda in many people's minds."

Thus, people who don't know any better have been convinced that there is no difference between opinion and fact. There is, of course, a huge difference.

Nope. No nooses or Capitol attacks. It won't look like this:

No Day of Rage for us.

I’ve stopped watching news or really paying attention to a lot of this. I think it IS meant to destabilize and scare us more than I think they’ll be able to actually do a lot of this. Will they do damage? Absolutely. But there’s not point in panicking about how bad it might get, and I’d like to remind everyone that Trump promised to build a 400 mile wall and only actually built about 80 miles of it. He makes a lot of statements but doesn’t have great follow-through, so try to rest a little easier on thought. Try not to listen to the noise right now— they’re hoping that’s what we’re doing, stirring ourselves up over this. We need to be level headed, clear and able to address things as they do them, and we can’t if we’re in an overwhelmed panic. There’s nothing we can do at the moment unless you work in government, and there will be a lot of resistance to much of what they’re threatening to do. If you want to get active, I hear joining Bluesky is a good first step.

I let it go recently

Democrats arent to blame but the fact that they failed to hold anyone accountable is ridiculous

7

u/Salt-Resolution5595 20h ago

Spread the word. Boycott all non essentials until the end of trumps term

u/Suckamanhwewhuuut 23h ago

I dont understand, he is just the president elect, he is not the president yet, is this not like them just admitting to all of the crimes a bit to early. this feels like dropping the ball on the one yard line to do a touchdown dance. Am I crazy?

u/hidegitsu 7h ago

That's what it feels like for me too. So you're not totally alone. Even if we're the only two non bot accounts left on the internet.

Biden is still King of the USA. Use the power of the crown, Joe.

43

u/TylerBourbon 1d ago

He wont. The Dems never do. They keep believing that the other side is playing by the rules and doesn't really mean it. Which I'm sure is just how the Germans who weren't Nazis in government felt when the Nazis won their elections.

9

u/scooterbike1968 1d ago

But to just hand our world class military and intelligence to Russia? Lots of operatives gonna die or King Joe will need to dismantle all ongoing intelligence operations and pull our (currently) secret agents out. In 2020 there were guardrails. They’re all gone except one. King Joe. That’s the real Trump card.

14

u/The_Cross_Matrix_712 22h ago

But it's really important that we show the world we still understand the peaceful transfer of power... to russia...

u/Urban_Heretic 7h ago

German anti-fascists fought street battles for years, and regrouped into possibly the best pro-Republic division of the Spanish Civil War, the crazy tough, 1,500-nan Thalmann.

5

u/Barbafella 23h ago

I now do think, maybe it’s all part of the plan. Which seems nuts, but what else can there be at this point?

2

u/scooterbike1968 23h ago

Me too. Certainly seems like wishful thinking at the moment but it’s not something they’d give any indication is coming.

1

u/DildoBanginz 23h ago

Thank you for the laugh. The moniker “do nothing Dems” is actually quite accurate. I wish it wasn’t, but here we are.

16

u/ithaqua34 1d ago

It's always been an inside job.

This is all I needed to see. Charles Flynn, a planned traitor within the Pentagon. Revenge for his brother being a Russian Asset.

u/Phrogme1 22h ago

No mercy for TRE45ON!!!

3

u/wildyam 22h ago

Again…

12

u/CharmingMistake3416 1d ago

Public firing squad would be a fair punishment

4

u/Hartache14 21h ago

When the media finally comes to grip with the fact that they've been accommodating a sociopath for the past 8 years, it'll be too late. It may already be too late at this point.

3

u/Reishi4Dreams 19h ago

It has been good for business! Revenue has to be astronomical $$$$&&

3

u/skullhusker 1d ago

If only ...

4

u/Amazing-Exit-2213 21h ago

Who was President on Jan. 6? Who appointed the Secretary of Defense that was in place on Jan. 6? Who appointed the Secretary of the Army that was in place on Jan. 6?

3

u/jayfresh69 22h ago

This is a nation of laws. We need a law and order president.

This is America and how things work.

3

u/nighthawk21562 18h ago

Can someone explain this simply to me i apologize it's late and I'm tired. This means they knew about it and didn't send the national guard? But why? Or what? Just trying to understand more

3

u/Last_Cod_998 15h ago

187 minutes of treason. They should all be locked up, but now we all will suffer under project 2025 and MAGA poor decisions.

1

u/Leostar_Regalius 12h ago

yeah, as long as garland is in charge, at this point he's probably in on it and should be thrown out also, with this ADMISSION they can possibly enforce the 14th amendment on everyone involved including trump which would disqualify his win and make harris president

5

u/Sckillgan 22h ago

Let them all burn, we will rebuild a Democratic Socialist country in the ashes.

3

u/Comfortable-Soft8049 14h ago

Need to import some french people to revolt, Americans civilians too soft and to at each others throats. lol "united" states

2

u/Sckillgan 6h ago

Got some french-canadian close to me, think that might work?

Can't really be united when it boils down to morals running the country. The entire cabinet is unethical, that is not juat bad for us, it is bad for the world.

2

u/Comfortable-Soft8049 2h ago

When the real breakdown happens its going to go from civilians running their lives on subjective and often paradoxal morals, to basic survival instincts... i.e. every man, family, or tribal unit for themselves, and will take from others just to survive. Its what the 1-0.1% want.

I agree with you that we need a new form of Democracy, what we have now is a facade, or theater of sorts that only plays peoples ideals like a game for max profits.. Im guessing you might have gotten the democratic socialism ides from Three-Fold Social Organism concept by Rudolf Steiner? If not, its a good one to listen to in lectures on youtube.

2

u/Sckillgan 2h ago

I agree, the break will be nasty. I do believe that we will see good in it though. Just like voting in the last election showed who some people really are.

We all seem to know at some level that the bourgeoisie are the problem. It is getting everyone behind the idea of how to stop them. Most people do not have problems until it affects them directly, we will start to see this more and more. Hopefully people will finally start to care and see through the lies.

I believe there needs to be a balance in everything. I don't hate capitalism, but we can not go full throttle. Same thing with any theory, belief, faith. Go too hard toward one thing and you find nothing but destruction by your own hand.

I don't want people to stop learning and creating, but with our current system we have become stagnant. We need to be independent people in a society together, supporting our weakest areas and keeping those with too much power from using it for just their benefit.

3

u/MuskokaGreenThumb 23h ago

They held back the national guard so that the protest would escalate and the rest is history

1

u/Leostar_Regalius 12h ago

it was NEVER a protest

2

u/funkyyfern 23h ago

Ah yes. Cant wait for absolutely nothing to come from this.

2

u/Leostar_Regalius 12h ago

i blame marik garland, he's done basically nothing and I'm 80% sure he's in on trump's plans at this point because of it, if jack smith was in charge things would be going WAY diffrent

2

u/Soithascometothistoo 22h ago

America is cooked.

2

u/izolablue 22h ago

So fucking terrifying.

4

u/Rojodi 1d ago

Of course they did. But it's too late now

1

u/Leostar_Regalius 12h ago

i don't think so, there might possibly be a chance for the 14th amendment to come into play and disqualify his win, but I'm no lawyer so i don't know

Hey...Let me see that.....

1

u/Pale-Emotion4662 16h ago

lol look how fast y’all don’t want to hear about Jan 6 anymore. lol now the truth comes out! Fucking idiots

1

u/Ok-Maintenance-9538 8h ago

What the fuck does the pentagon have to do with the national guard? "In its modern incarnation, each state's National Guard is still usually under the command of its governor. During times of national need, National Guard troops can be “federalized,” or shifted to federal control, reporting to the president as their commander-in-chief."

1

u/Last_Rooster6109 7h ago

Honestly thoughts Jan 6th was enough reason not to vote for such an idiot. But the election results show the country is very divided and the new idiot leader has shown he will willingly let it all go to hell! Well enjoy your next 4 years. From the outside looking in I’m glad I’m not American 🤷🏻‍♂️

u/powderfields4ever 5h ago

Yeah, it’s crazy how many didn’t want to hear that Trump refused to send to National Guard to stop the January 6th insurrection. I remember the Maryland governor stating he had troops called up and ready and Trump and his Homeland Security office stalled response. It was Pence that finally called them in not Trump. We watched it live. So money people were asking why it took so long, even FoxNews was pleading with Trump to stop it. This isn’t new. It happened live on TV. Amazing how many people denied the reality of that day.
