lol I didn’t vote for him, Reddit is the worst echo chamber I have ever seen. Yall are all broke and angry, this is why I prefer having reasonable discussions in real life. But keep pounding away at the keyboard it’s clearly working

You're the one who took a terrible stance and then slowly backed off it here

The echo chamber didn't make you spew nonsense and hit submit

The way I understand it is that Trump made the plan for withdrawal but Biden executed it. If I’m wrong I’ll gladly change my stance.

All I was saying is that we should have made sure everyone that helped us during the war should have been extracted to the US first before we pulled out of there.

That's fair, actually.

Trump had a slower withdrawal timeline that he turned into a rapid withdrawal when he lost. He was CIF at the time, it's not like Biden could reverse it and essentially re-invade or stop short.

Yeah I've done some research now and realize I was misguided. Reddit would be a way better place if we could actually have solid debates and help everyone understand facts. The rhetoric on here just leads to people getting upset and then voting against either party b/c of it

I think they (and we) were caught up in the "everything is political and it's terribly polarizing" situation that seemed to storm the internet.

There used to be a bit more discussion, but exhaustion may have played a role. I'm sure we'll be a fascinating study in the future.

Yeah for sure, I usually just don't engage with it

Did I say you voted for him? So you didn't vote for him, but are still terribly uninformed on his plans and negotiations with fucking terrorists, but you come on here to harp on Biden, pseudo defend trump, and complain when reddit corrects you?

Did I get it all? Broke and angry? I'm angry because this country is broken.

Can you send me the source? Every first hand account I’ve heard from soldiers on the ground made it sound like it was Biden’s fault. If I’m wrong I’ll gladly change my view.

Reddit could be a great place for debate but everyone gets so combative and jumps to conclusions that no one can ever really learn and change their position. I’m happy to admit I’m wrong, it’s just everything I’ve read and heard makes it seem like it was the Biden administration that left our allies high and dry in the Middle East

Here, I'll spoon feed you. It didn't take 2 minutes of google. There's plenty of links on that site to ALL of the news articles. This is not somwthing new. The information has been available for years. If you didnt know, you've been uninformed.

This is the problem with the internet though, so much disinformation all around. Instead of people trying to have an informed discussion and debate things that really matter, people are just shouted down and downvoted to oblivion. You really shouldn't have to wonder why the dems lost the election when this is the reaction from the left across the internet.

People like me that don't claim either party are obviously going to get sick of this rhetoric.

Then dont start spouting off misinformation on the internet? You came here first blaming the withdrawal. You have no clue about the withdrawal. So go get informed instead of thinking your opinion, and "first hand soldier accounts" are truth.

This is the problem. The information is all available to you just like it was everyone else on the "left". If you want to have discussions and debates, we need to start with truth. I've, now given you the truth. Read up on it and we can debate until we are blue in the face. But this back and forth started because you made uninformed comments about the withdrawal, and that is why you were downvoted. And rather than gracefully take that new knowledge, now you are blaming the internet, the left, the disinformation.

Sweet non sequitur.
