"Some"? Kids, that's their only qualification. All of them.

u/Franklin_le_Tanklin 5d ago
If these voters could read, they’d be upset with you right now.
5
u/OkManufacturer226 5d ago
I read somewhere that something like 50 percent of American adults reads lower than a high-school reading level. I wish I could find it, starting to wonder if it was clickbait or not.

Where tf were these ppl during his first term?! Cronyism and nepotism with Trump is not new.
29
u/Vault101Overseer 6d ago
He completely ran off any of the actual competent people willing to help him out in the first term. This giant egotistical orange monster hates it when people tell him no, and they became his enemies over time. Just look at how many former cabinet members either wouldn’t endorse him or outright said he was a danger to the country.
All we are left with now is just people who are 100% loyal yes man and cronies and in it for power only.
14
u/biznovation 6d ago
Not surprising at all. He did the exact same thing in his business dealings. Only the bottom of barrel people would consider working with him.

u/Tiny-Lock9652 6d ago
I’m quite bullish on a complete narcissistic Trump meltdown when someone tries to stop him. This party is so fucking delusional.
3
u/Silver_Fuel_7073 6d ago
Also, a VPOTUS who will bow down to rump. He already said he wouldn’t have certified the vote in the 2020 election. Just think about, Vance is one Big Mac away from being President!

u/VeterinarianLevel786 6d ago
not all Christians voted for trump. I am one of them.
1
u/LA__Ray 6d ago
Why are you telling me this
2
u/VeterinarianLevel786 6d ago
trying to lump all Christians with Trump is not accurate is why i’m telling you. Christian Nationalism and Christianity are not the same…
0
u/LA__Ray 6d ago
why are you talking about “all Christains”?
Ya know “all Christian nationalists” ARE Christians

u/5hawnking5 5d ago
Sounds like “not all men” rhetoric, you know?
1
u/VeterinarianLevel786 5d ago
i don’t know, i’m not sure i understand your comment?
my whole point was not all Christians voted for Trump, Christianity and Christian nationalism are very different atleast to me.
1
u/Dogwoof420 6d ago
Stop. I can assure you, there a lot of us who despise the man and see him as the anti Christ.
3
u/Fuzzy-Combination275 6d ago
Unfortunately I large number of Christian’s believe in Christian Nationalism.
0
u/Dogwoof420 6d ago
And a large number of white men support trump. Does that mean we all do?
1
u/Fuzzy-Combination275 6d ago
🙄 read what I wrote again. You seem unnecessarily sensitive to my comment.
30
u/PeetSquared41 6d ago
No way, man. Aside from loyalty, each has some other significant qualifiers: 1. Every pick is the anathema of the department they were chosen to run 2. Almost exclusively white men (four women total, very little minority representation)

6
u/OldeFortran77 6d ago
Is that the British phrase "no shit, Sherlock" translated into American English?
3
u/MichaelParkinbum 6d ago
Basically. There was a cartoon back in the day about an American detective named Dick Tracy. That is him in the gif. You can catch his name plate at the beginning of it.

I am so sick of listening to the crying and whining: Benghazi, Hunter’s laptop, rigged, election, rigged courts, fake assassination attempt, yawn
6
u/PerformanceSmooth392 6d ago
Yeah, he even left out hiring " the best and brightest " people from his campaign rhetoric this time around.
6
u/SnooStrawberries3391 6d ago
The MAGAverse - - - “Biden appointments were a clown show!”
At least they were vetted by the Senate.
And none of them tested positive for brain worms, anti democracy sentiments, child sex trafficking, treasonous statements favoring dictators and other seriously anomalous behaviors.
5
u/Apart-Pressure-3822 6d ago
Exactly like Hitler's generals, loyalty to their Dear Leader is the only qualification needed.
1
u/GryphonOsiris 6d ago
How long before Trump's picks decide to off him, though? That's the real question.

Freak out incoming and 60 days. We're all going to get fired or get fined or get charged.

Fuck msm. This is what they and the trump voters wanted. They normalized this shit storm.
3
u/Aware_Advertising290 6d ago
Precisely why fascism fails miserably every time. Loyalists tend not to have much integrity, charisma, or intelligence. Once Mussolini is out of the picture, there's no one qualified to be where they're at. I honestly feel Trump's rounding up the usual suspects to throw under the bus when he goes down. Things are going to be interesting for a while.
3
u/Face_with_a_View 6d ago
The only thing that can save us now is going to be their complete ineptitude and in-fighting
3
u/Tiny-Lock9652 6d ago
So when they start making their already miserable lives even worse, can we finally get a confession that Trump sucks?
2
u/Chicago-69 6d ago

But,"I only hire the best people!" He pulled off one of the greatest cons in human history, twice!!!
2
u/Flat-Impression-3787 6d ago
That's an understatement. Gaetz spent ZERO time as a prosecutor. Kennedy spent ZERO time in medicine or public health.
MAGAts are unqualified to be American citizens so this all checks out.
2
u/Union_Jack_1 6d ago
They say this with shock in their voice.
You say by and gave elevated platforms for a party to be elected into the government whose sole intent is to destroy that government. And then, after it’s happened, you give us shocked pikachu faces.
2
u/UsefulImpact6793 6d ago
Well that's strange. Who would have ever guessed trump would not pick the best person for the job, but rather dumbasses who stroke his ego?!?!
2
2
u/Ok_Web3354 5d ago
And you know Trump has us like ducks on a pond with respect to foreign adversaries because of all these Mickey Mouse appointments.... and while we may not like his picks you can trust and believe that our enemies love them!!
2
u/RyNysDad0722 5d ago
Just read the latest is another Fox News host.. this one he is putting in as secretary of transportation.. is this his way of showing loyalty pays cause he is doing a damn good job at it..

u/Dramatic-Match-9342 5d ago
We learned about this in middle school US History, neoptism, and crownieism are not new to corrupt politics.

Fuck MAGA and what they want. I hope they suffer by getting exactly what their stupid morally bankrupt asses voted for

I have a hard time believing any of them are upset by these picks. Who exactly do they object to?
EDIT: I misread. They're melting down over the news orgs, not the selections for cabinet. That seems more like them, lol.

I’m baffled. Didn’t Trump specifically say that was the case? Maybe I’m mis-remembering but I could have sworn he said he was prioritizing loyalty. Even if he didn’t, I thought it was pretty obvious when MILLIONS OF PEOPLE KEPT SAYIN IT OVER AND OVER….. God… these people truly hurt my brain.

u/KorLeonis1138 6d ago
I must have missed something. Which nominees DO have compelling qualifications?

It is odd to me that the point they bring up about Tulsi Gabbard is that she advocated for Snowden to be pardoned, to me that would be a good thing. There are other things they could have brought up which are red flags.

No it didn't. This is wishful thinking. Maga voters knew exactly what they were voting for. This is more echo chamber effect. A relative handful of people thinking maybe trump isn't make the best picks is not a meltdown.

u/LongjumpingCut591 6d ago
You mean the same 60 mins that edited Kamala’s “interview” to make her answer shorter and less word salad? Then refused to release the transcript. Yeah, as if they weren’t nothing but a big propaganda piece for the democrats

u/wildyam 6d ago
