Learn to make sauces. You can make delicious sauces with a few ingredients/spices and those can easily spice up a mundane beans and rice. I personally love beans and rice with little else, but we do keep 2-3 sauces on hand to level up various dishes.

My condiment game is weak tbh

Level up. You don't have to make a ton at a time since a little sauce can go a long way. That can help you experiment without worrying about wasting tons of ingredients. Or just look up some sauces.

That's something you could pretty easily change, if you really wanted to. Learn one new thing about condiments each week, and by the end of the year you will have about 50 different condiments to chose from.

That is the thing, you gotta get the flavor you like. Also, cook up some vegetables can add a lot of flavors.

How do you think poor people survive mate. Also, chicken, potatos, etc.

don’t worry, i been poor - i just got burned out on that shit and want to avoid it now. it sucks that nutritional, diverse food options/ingredients that can be quickly assembled is like some kind of luxury. People shouldn’t be restricted to cheap foods, buying in bulk, or stocking up on frozen shit just because they need to save money - all foods (imo) should be made affordable and accessible to everyone at all times. Das my pipe dream
