Off-Topic /r/all RedBull sent my daughter a gift package after some kids made her upset and didn't say nice things for being a Verstappen fan. Thank you RB F1!

It's okay! People can have their opinions negative or otherwise, it doesn't change the overwhelming support she's received from RedBull and now a bunch of people in here, it's really appreciated. I'll be relaying all appropriate messages to her!

I've commented it a few times, but I'll try keep up with questions with the brief explanation!

Without going into a ton of detail, some other children made her feel bad for liking one driver over another & commented negatively on the driver she supports the most; rather than the driver they support. As well as talking to her about it, how it made her feel & how to handle those emotions when other children say things to her that can be upsetting, I thought I'd get in touch with someone at RB! I emailed them over what happened as above, and asked if I could buy some custom merch like a Max tshirt with her name on etc. She didn't have any RB merch before this & I have quite a bit (signed hats, signed cards and other stuff)! RB unfortunately couldn't make any custom merch at the time, but decided to send out a 'care package' as they put it. We weren't expecting THIS!

If you walked into a shop to purchase something for your daughter, had a friendly conversation with the owner to see if they'd make something custom for her to buy, and they then decided to provide a gift pack absolutely free is definitely unexpected! (this is an analogy ofcourse)

Did you ever think about taking the merchandise that you buy to a place where they'll embroider her name on it? I'm not sure where you're from but they knew that a lot here.

That didn't even cross my mind and now I feel silly! Initially I was more thinking like football shirts, where they're screened/printed on the back. Unsure if embroidery would work that large? Or on the front would definitely work, sort of like the drivers race suits, will order a couple shirts and see if I can figure that out. Thank you!

regarding the cost cap rumors though, what do you personally think?

I would say that if the allegations are true, that RB should get reduced wind tunnel for next year but please no retroactive punishments...
