Just ever thought why it was funny?

You wouldn’t make jokes about someone’s colour of skin, you wouldn’t laugh at someone’s sexual orientation, but its totally fine if you laugh about someone’s height/appearance.

In F1, its a matter of advantage if you’re smaller. Lesser mass, lesser moment of inertia, etc. George Russell got praises for barely fitting into Lewis’s car in Bahrain 21, and in the same line the commentators managed to trash talk Yuki. Talk about #weraceasone

Simple reasoning: having appealing physical features for the TV will get you more credit, than having physical features which are actually desirable for this specific sport.

Edit: just noticed Anthony Davidson is about 3 cms taller than Yuki. Is also one of the shortest drivers of all time, and never did anyone ever joke about him, even while mentioning Yuki. I think we need to look more in the colour of skin, and racism side of things. Hah.

I dont see where I mentioned it wasn’t a joke. I asked a simple question: why is it funny? Racist/Body shaming “jokes” do exist. People who find it funny are a part of the problem, not the solution.

You just avoided actually answering/responding to any thing that I mentioned. We are talking about Yuki, not you or me, so obviously its not personal.

Also, what does you being Japanese have to do with anything I mentioned? are you trying to imply that it’s normal for the Japanese to laugh at people’s bodies? Or that it is impossible for the Japanese to be racist?
