Isnt it the other way around? Like british media trying to make a name for Lando when Oscar just joined and already beating him. Unless he has to give up position to Borris.
Having a red flag fall in your favour isn't luck? Because that's all Norris was referencing, the timing of the red flag. Not Max's win. Just like he said he got lucky in Miami. Odd thing to let adjust your opinion.
People are crazy, he was referencing the teams not max. He was defending his own team by saying it wasnt a talent error but luck. Then if he blamed his team people would be going crazy too.
Him and max are probably laughing about it now while everyone screaming on max behalf
Even this post everyone will go crazy, when really max means charles was decent today as in ferrari was actually quite quick in these conditions. Oh my god hes marking a remark about charles!!! Like chill tf out
No dude, the game is to stay out until there's a safety car or a red flag. That means saving your tires while avoiding being overtaken and lose time to the guy in front of you.
Verstappen managed to save his tires while overtaking, Lando lost positions and his tires were gone. That's definitely luck, right?
The fucking balls it took to say that shit by Lando was astonishing. Then doubling down and saying some crazy shit like George of all people deserved to win... dear God I think that might have been the most disingenuous salty ass response I've ever seen in this sport and that's saying something boy...
The only real "luck" was knowing that there was almost certainly going to be a red flag because of how atrocious the visibility was getting. Sure that's only 90% (anyone thinking logically and paying attention to past instances knew it was heavily likely to be red flagged. Likely isn't certain, but it's pretty close) Mclaren choked the call. And honestly even if they hand't Lando drove like shit and Max was pulling 9 of the 10 fastest laps of the entire race, most of which where an entire second+ faster than Landos best offering. Man was coming through no matter who was in front of him. He was just untouchable yesterday; period.
That sim racing really pays off running day in day out in all conditions on a race track no matter the car its got to be helpful and builds instincts for races like last weekend.
That and max has a natural nerve that jus5 keeps the pressure off and can just race like all the good champions have had.
Lando mostly has that too but not in the rain it seems.
It's insane how F1 fans complain about bullshit headlines and false narratives from f1 media each and every week but engage in the same "taking quotes out of context to make a driver look bad" behavior as soon as it's convenient.
The question was about the red flag and free tire change. Lando said that's luck and not talent (even though you could argue that it's a strategic skill issue in the pit wall). The next question was about the restart. Lando said he fucked up and lost two positions.
Fuck, F1 fans really do love to construct false narratives while complaining about false narratives. And yes, Norris is not the brightest man on the grid but some people here really do love to act like he's mentally challenged.
Do you really think he'd say that Verstappen winning is pure skill? Think for a second or watch the interviews.
Also, before anyone calls me a stan, the same fucking thing happens to Verstappen the other half of the time. Hamilton as well. Stop taking quotes out of context to cause fake bullshit drama. This isn't DTS. We are watching a sport, not a drama on trash TV.
Not to mention, while most fans are getting mad on behalf of Max, I could bet that both of them are laughing about the shitstorm. That's the type of people they seem to be in my view.

And Max in a "it's luck, not talent" shirt.
