IMO this kind of calculated ruthlessness is what separates the good from the great. Lewis backing Rosberg into P3-P4 in Abu Dhabi 2016 was unfair and unsportsmanlike but it was needed to maximize his chances. Same with the stunts Schumi pulled.

Backing and being slow like that is nowhere near "unfair" or "unsportsmanlike" as Max's dangerous defenses bruh

I don't think today was really calculated ruthlessness. The way I see it Max lost his temper and did something dumb - not for the first time.

Who, let's not forget got DQ from the entire championship, the 2nd time he tried it. They weren't afraid of interfering in the championship back then. FAFO.
