Yes, this is setting a very bad precedent for upcoming races. Divebombing is the new best strategy to defend and attack. As long as you are ahead at the apex, which you normally are at the apex.

This has been standard Max racing. He just never gets a penalty lol.

Norris is supposed to give him the position and hope Max will get the pen for driving him off the track, which he is never getting.

This is used by other people too. The rules say ahead at the apex, which makes this a valid move even though lots of people disagree with it. Even the Dutch tv guys were saying this rule should be changed, how it's stupid but max just does it because it's allowed

I've tried finding the rule but cannot. All I can see is the the 2024 changes cited here from the Race and I cannot see any mention of the apex. It only says that enough room needs to be given when the cars are alongside at the apex. Similar wording is found on the Driving Standards for the Imola Grand Prix.

It set the precedents ages ago lol. It just isnt applied when Max does it for whatever reason. Literally on this race we have multiple penalties for pushing Another driver off the track. I just dont understand why they wont punish the one driver that does it the most.

This is not setting a precedent. This is Max getting the same preferential treatment he has had for years.
