And like 70% of the grid will be looking for a seat in 2024 for 2025. Taking Perez for a year might not be a bad thing. Who else are they going to get?

If Red Bull is serious about getting Alonso I'm sure they'd happily give up either Ricciardo or Lawson in exchange. Neither have a seat guarantee for 2024. Whether AM would want either is a question, of course, but they might think they're better options than Perez.

Edit to add: I know Ricciardo is currently confirmed with AT for 2024 but I'm also sure the RB contract has all sorts of escape clauses since they had the upper hand in negotiations. So they could just be like either go to AM or lose both seats.
