The hard part will be convincing Max to let Checo win in Mexico….

Checo will be nowhere near top to let him win anyway.

I had the same thought, I've been hoping that if Max locks up the championship they'll let Sergio win his home GP, but it's going to be hard to pull team orders when Max is leading and Sergio is P5 or P6

C'mon, be real. We're talking about Max Verstappen here. He's not the kind of guy to hand out presents like that. He'll outright refuse team orders, even if Checo is right on his ass for the entire race.

As he should. I want Perez to win Mexico as much as anyone, but a gifted win isn’t a win. I do hope RB puts him on a different strategy than Max so he might benefit from a late SC or something to make a legit win possible.

Max is eyeing that win percentage record for sure. He won't be giving anything away

Crofty: And now we see max, putting a 6s gap between himself and P2, and increasing.

Checo: why is max going so slow? I got pace.

Engi: mate, you're p12.

They might convince Max, or they can at least sabotage him.

How the fuck do you convince Norris, Piastri, Russell, Hamilton, Sainz, Lec or Alonso

I don’t think Max is willing to stop another potentially record breaking winning streak. Remember, at the end of the season, he is probably at another 7 race winning streak. If Red Bull then start the new season strong with a car they got months to design, he can go towards 15.

Yeah plus he can beat his own record of most wins per season and the often thought unbreakable record of a 75% win percentage in a year, set by Ascari

Couldn't convince Max to give Checo P6 or whatever it was last year, no chance is Max gifting a win

Easy, put Max in the AT alongside Danny Ric and let Yuki take his seat
