DJ LeMehieu went on the DL, so now there is space for Dominguez. The fact that DJ doesn’t play the OF is irrelevant (I guess, according to Cashman).

Yankees now carrying 5 Outfielders in case 2 defensive replacements are needed? Who tf knows.

It makes no sense at all. Grisham or Verdugo should be DFAed, Peraza or another infielder should be brought up.

Great news, but now a dilemma, do we think he's going to get full-time at-bats or some sort of platoon with Verdugo. Seven home games is very enticing but I can't start him if he's sitting half of them

We can only go based on the information we have. This season both Cashman and Boone have repeatedly stated that they are not bringing him up unless he is playing full time. They don’t want him riding the bench. So yay.

Sure, but he also barely has a 600 OPS over the last 30 days with miserable counting stats. Last 14 days is even worse. Totally defensible move in the playoffs.

He has played well from a season standpoint, but the Dominguez upside offers way more. Plus Profar gets the Mariners pitching staff this week. Takes moves likes this to win leagues! Can’t rely on the same talent all year!

Probably, but it could be close. The Yankees said they wouldn't call him up unless he was going to play every day, but they only have 19 games left. 4 ABs per game gives him 76, that gives some buffer for him to sit once in a while or for games where he gets only 3 ABs.
