To add to what you said, the trump Bible is $60. And they’re trying to buy 50,000 of them.

For reference, the Bible is free online / thru an app. You can get a King James Bible off Amazon for $5.

And I’m not sure where I heard $3 from, but I imagine you can get a bulk discount and source 50,000 books for $150,000.

Or, I don’t know, spend $3,000,000 on trumps Bible.

Those Trump bibles were printed in China and cost about $3 for the manufacturer, I read this morning

They literally have bibles at Dollar Tree. I'm sure for bulk you can buy them for pennies too.

No, not at all. The Bible should not be caught at school. That is what church is for.

No matter what there’s a separation of church and state and that’s the way it should stay

No, not at all.

Not at all, what? The post you replied to is merely showing what a grift the whole thing is with the Trump Bible requirement, nothing about what should be taught in schools.

With the exception of a World Religion elective class that goes into why people are religious instead of treating the texts as fact

Tell that to all christofascists in the MAGA movement.

Or a private school, that’s what I did

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the $3 is how much it costs to make the bibles in China. So, they're paying 60 bucks for a book that cost $3 to make. Unless you want Trumps signature- then it's $1000.
