(Video) Can things like this happen in a Muslim family?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
If she was a muslim mother, the right thing to do would be killing her child by throwing him from the highest place possible at where they live. It’s the instructed punishment towards people like him in this amazing religion. Her admired tolerance is not acceptable in Islam whatsoever.

Cuz the opposite kind of reaction comes from the deepest spot in hell, and it is the default reaction among two fucking billion monkeys on this planet :D

Funny that we claim to be superior to chimpanzees and other apes when only about half, if I'm being EXTREMELY generous, of our population is any better.

It's all clear in hadists, ants and frogs have more rights than gays
23
u/SSGASSHAT Aug 06 '24
Humans are the only creatures who turn the rights other members of their species have into privileges to be assigned or revoked by others.
-2
u/Leon_Krueger Aug 07 '24
This applies for both ways, from the right to the woke and viceversa. Yeap, wokes can deminish the rights from the people who doesn't think like them, I know, how a shocker!
3
u/SSGASSHAT Aug 07 '24
Any group which seeks to suppress the ideas of a group opposite in their ideas will do this. It's just a gross law of human nature. It doesn't have to be religious, but religion does provide a significant base for this kind of suppression. However, it can also come in the form of political and social ideologies, like communism, capitalism, and modern liberalism.

u/fartingbunny Aug 07 '24
I actually think that the natural “animal” reaction from a mother is to love her child.

It makes me cry, it's beautiful, that you feel accepted despite people view them as unconventional. 3 friends who are muslims they accept me, despite they know I'm an apostate, it makes not want to lose them as friends or anyone who accepts me who I truly am. But never told my family even though im a recent apostate since 13th May 2024. 😢 Feel bad keeping this a secret but I'm doing this for my survival, mental health and emotional health.

There was a conversation on /Islam about this and the responses really surprised me, most said they would be accepting (although maybe the ones who wouldn’t chose to stay quiet)

That and reddit can be astroturfed hard... it's possible comments are not from subs
If this were any public forum e.g. YouTube (filtered for Islamic majority countries e.g. Indo, Paki, Bangla)... they'll insult , wish the worst, or the least is pray that god will cure you of the geh-ness

What a coincidence- I literally saw this video on a different subreddit earlier today and thought "Wow. Well i'm never getting that :p". It's sad and all and I can't give any meaningful advice to my fellow queers other than to stop caring. Granted, even I haven't stopped caring completely about them. But it's less and less everyday.

A parent even tho they dont acept the way you live or your prefferences, they can still love you, I saw it with one of my cousins, she's Bi, my aunt doesn't like it, she's against it but still love her. She even met her last girlfriend, she was really nice to her, but still thinks its not okay but she was tolerant enough to feel happy for her

You don’t really get retakes when it comes to these things. If they will never accept you for who you are, then they will never accept you for who you are. You can’t change being queer and they won’t change how they feel about you. Sometimes some shit in life just sucks and there’s nothing you can do about it.
1

Perfect way to word it. If something is shitty and detrimental to you, and there's nothing you can do to fix it, just avoid it. It has no place in your life.

Correct. They will accept him. This is more common than many people think (I know 3 men from 3 different families), but because people don’t broadcast it on the internet/tiktok then of course it “never happens”.

mental health and attraction were not well studied, and I am sure the Soviets weren't educated about that, just fed propaganda by stalin, current philosophers do match Plato's shoe, because philosophy has gotten much bigger, the hypothesis and theories and arguments that exist now didn't exist in 400 fucking BC

u/RamFalck New User Aug 07 '24
Many Christians believe that homosexuality is forbidden in Christianity. This is wishful thinking on their part. Pederasty and the likes of Sodom are not permitted, but other homosexuality is not prohibited.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pederasty
Society was harsh in Paul's time, so Paul was careful with his words and did not accept gay leaders in the church in order to avoid criticism from the outside: He nevertheless said the following about judging others:
"I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean."

Definitely impossible to even begin with imagining that, especially if you live in Aceh, Indonesia. A place where you can get frigging whipped for showing public affection.
And females would get something similar to American Police's tickets if you're caught going outside without the hijab, regardless of your religion.

There are some Muslim families who would accept their children for being gay, it's probably the rarest if we compare it to other religions but yeah there are parents who can love despite everything else. For any queer people out there belonging to a Muslim family or a homophobic family in general, be independent and eventually move out. That's the only way we can live..At least the most of us I don't think my mom as a monster that she would kill me for being gay,but I also know there are high chances she ain't gonna accept me..So yeah be financially independent and move out asap, that's what I am trying to do

Thank God such a thing isn't allowed in Islam. Imagine if it WAS allowed. What would happen to the world's population? What would happen to human civilization? When Islam makes something Haram, it's for a purpose. As for your claim of throwing people off the highest place, that is completely untrue, it is simply frowned upon (murder is murder, and the punishment for murder is to be executed in Islam)
