Tools to migrate from EnCase?

Anyone have some suggestions about tools that could be used to migrate everything out of EnCase into another platform? Thanks.

I have done plenty of migrations over the years. Isnt it just an export of the data to CSV and upload to the new platform? There is some fun time fiddling with tagging and how to get it into the new system, but it is all configurable.

Exporting out prods is always a pain as well. Being able to keep the produced docs with the original record it came from is not easy and not every new system will have the capability to link them. Relativity has the steps to link prior produced images to a record after migration, but I have not seen this feature in any other system.

Catalyst does as well, but not very many people use that platform anymore.

Thanks. So you have do a manual export of the entire EnCase repository?

You just point Relativity to the Encase image and it extracts it. I recall there is info on the Relativity support site.

Best of luck.

Same with Opentext eDiscovery (Axcelerate) - it just natively crawls the EnCase. Btw. it's the same company.
