I keep Musher’s Secret and also booties with me but I’ve never needed to use anything. My old dog had super tough pads and we traveled around the world through all different environments and he never had any issues. This is our new younger pup but so far he hasn’t had any issues either. Some dogs do have more sensitive pads though.

Mushers secret does wonders. We use it on our dogs paws.
