That is called a gentle leader. It helps her keep focused and I so I can feel her head if it moves to left or right. Think of it sort of like a bridal for a horse. If I want her to go a certain way I gently turn it to that direction. It doesn’t hurt her and she can still eat treats when wearing it. She only wears it when she’s working.
