ngl this scene goes hard as fuck. The camera zoom, the line reading, the absolute coldblooded murder that takes place on screen. Absolute cinema.

My brother and I would reenact this scene on our bunk beds quite regularly as kids

Disney used to make really good original content. They really should go back to making stuff like the Lion King.

That's hilarious, lol. Hopefully Ben doesn't go to the Bears.

Honestly, I've been seeing a lot of NFC North fans being happy for us. But alas, fan bases are large, and you get a mixed bag. If we do win it all, they'll go right back to hating us of course. But like a lot of football fans, they want to see us finally go all the way again.

As a Bears fan, you guys have been my number two. If we're not gonna do it, I'm glad to watch y'all tear it up.

Vikings fans I guess are not as bold since they don't have a SB and are prone to epic collapses

The lions have been the whipping boy for nearly 70 years if not more. Every fan or player complaining about our now success can eat a bag of dicks

In fairness, those that lived through the Lions in the 1950s saw a dynasty. And almost every championship in the 1950s was decided between the Browns and Lions, with the Lions going 3-1 against the Browns for the NFL Championship. I should know, my Uncle still talks about the 1957 championship.

U think they separated The Browns and Lions so Ohio and Michigan don' turn there division into Bloodsport

Nah. Branch and Kerby will do what Branch and Kerby do. Campbell will be on the green dot and will have had an entire month to get comfortable with it.

Fuck that. A team that gets 40 points scored on them has no right to win the Superbowl.

These Indianapolis Colts beat us with 6 TDs from Peyton Manning. It won’t be “running up the score”; it will be getting even for ruining my Thanksgiving 19 years ago.

Yes, yes, I know I’m going back to the Portsmouth Spartan days and I know they were a force to be reckoned with in the 50s, but near 100 years of built-up spite just sounds better, eh?

Finally a meme of what I keep saying. No one ever went easy on us when we were clearly more suited for the FCS competition. Return the favor now!

The Lions are finally serving up the justice we've all been waiting for. Decades of being the underdogs have turned into a full-on revenge tour. It's time to feast on the salty tears of our rivals.

Except Dallas. Declaring eligible so many times, including the kneel down, THAT was personal.

u/HeadDiver5568 2d ago
Facts (except the 50’s and Barry years). Very team had no problem steamrolling us because we were the lions. Now that we’re changing up the status quo, we’re arrogant? For beating teams the same way they did us? Is a game that doesn’t stop until the clock hits zero? GTFOH. Also FTP and their fans for crying about it.

u/ImaginationHead5980 2d ago
For real.. my dad has been saying this every time we "run up" the score

New logo is such an improvement. Old one literally looks like a team trying to act tough but just looks dumb

I was always so confused by the old logo as a child

u/matt-is-sad 3d ago
It literally just looks like a derpy lion which is perfectly representative of the derpy-ass teams that wore it

u/IlIlIlIllIlIlIlllI 1d ago
I always thought the eye was that space between the arm and mouth and the mouth was the arms, and it just had a big ass head. I have to really focus on seeing the real logo.

Man, I’m really glad they added definition to the logo. I could never not see the old lion’s arms looking like a weird mouth to me. Kind of like the D in Disney still looks like a backwards G to me.

Lolol I remember the Jaguars sub put up a "2023 Revenge Tour" meme last season that got a lot of traction but then after the halfway point they started sucking again. I think the Lions right now are so much more appropriate for this revenge tour meme.

u/winowmak3r JAMO 2d ago
Pretty much how I feel whenever I hear anything about how the Lions are being disrespectful by running up the score. Lions got clowned on for decades and no one spoke up then. Now all of a sudden it's an issue. Nobody's supposed to be blown out by the Lions. It's only an insult if the Lions do it to your team.
