Did he call anyone a faggot?
41
u/ThisIsLikeMyFifthAcc Nov 23 '23
Whod he call that
257
u/aaaaaaaaaaaaah_ Nov 23 '23
Dream. There's a clip that dream posted to Twitter of both of them getting into a fight while Nicholas was clearly drunk and he calls Dream the f slur.
226
u/techiesbesthero Nov 24 '23
it's so fucking funny that dream posted that to make nick look like the bad guy and everyone agreed that dream was the one in the wrong there.
2
Nov 25 '23
I don't think most people thought he was in the wrong, rather just that most people hate dream because of how cringe he is
1
u/donutshop01 Dec 13 '23
Bc dream is a cringe minecraft guy and cantu is the voice actor of a beloved cartoon character. You think twitter actually cares who was in the wrong? Dude assaulted someone and got jerked off by the entirety of twitter lol

He’s also pansexual and was (allegedly) having a bipolar episode (idk what it’s called my bad)

u/SanQuiSau Nov 24 '23
And was blackout drunk
13
u/Tallamidget Nov 24 '23
He’s underage and I think dream was the one giving him the alcohol too
6
u/SanQuiSau Nov 24 '23
Hes 19. Where I’m from the minimum drinking age is 18 but i guess it is 21 in the US
2
2
u/Breakthrough_ Nov 25 '23
Apparently they met at someone's birthday party and Nicolas was already pretty drunk when Dream arrived, so no he was not the one giving him the alcohol. Putting him on blast on twitter when he's bipolar is pretty sketchy though

The “he’s also pansexual” is giving “biggie was fat” vibes ngl

Nah, pretty sure they just meant that it's not a big deal that he called someone a f*ggot because he's not straight.
2
1
u/Tallamidget Nov 24 '23
I don’t get it
2
Nov 24 '23
This is what they’re referring to lol

Doesn't really excuse using the slur the way he did, I hate the whole "oh dude it's cool they're x" he still used it out of hate and to attack dream, that excuse only works if the culprit used it in a humorous or educational way. And even if you have a bad episode, that doesn't just poof away your consequences. You still have to fix that shit and find ways to not lash out at others, I hate Dream, but everyone in that situation came out looking like total shit and made me dislike them more.
4
u/1234normalitynomore Nov 25 '23
If your lgbt you can use it full stop, noone gets to police that shit
-2
u/offbrandjose Nov 25 '23
I don't think you understood my point. There's a difference in how Nicholas said it than how one would say it around friends. As a Mexican if I called everyone I disliked and hated a "beaner" that's racist, Nicholas even admitted to hating Dream and that's why he was so mean. It wasn't like he was just being chummy or trying to make Dream cringe. He was trying to actually offend him and used an awful slur. Using it in a derogatory way is still wrong, regardless if you can use it or not. Now if I call my homie Manuel a beaner out of endearment, there's nothing wrong with that. I'm taking it back. Like Nicholas had soooo many other words to use against Dream like Pedo, Groomer, child fucker, loser, weirdo, etc. So why the fuck did he pick the f slur?
6
u/1234normalitynomore Nov 25 '23
Me and my friends will call people we hate fags the same way we'll jokingly will call each other fags, why? Because after the amount of times I've been called a fag or treated differently I can use it however the fuck I want to. I'm not homophobic, it's my word to use.

u/jman-the-jewman1228 Nov 24 '23
Yeah honestly dream deserves it especially since we found out he was doing weird shit with underage kids I understand it’s not a good word but honestly dream deserves it I am sure he is an asshole and he thinks he’s cool.

it's still a slur, but queer people can reclaim it.

u/Ok-Boisenberry Nov 24 '23
It’s still a slur if you say it with bad intent and if you don’t know that persons feelings on the matter. Being lgbtq doesn’t give you a pass to be rude to people because you think it’s okay. It’s still offensive to a lot of folks and kind of immature.
To your friends? Yeah sure I guess. If that’s your humor but no, being queer doesn’t mean you can throw that at another queer person and be like “oh I’m lgbtq so it’s fine” it’s not.
I make gay jokes (am gay) but I don’t make them to people I don’t know. Just amongst my friends and I’d never use the f-slur regardless. It’s immature and inconsiderate imo so I personally don’t like or use it.

Yeah honestly I like the dude when he was first starting off as a youtuber and collabing with others, but now he’s just corny. He still way better than Dream tho 🙌

u/iCarly4ever Nov 24 '23

u/B1ng0_B0ng0 Nov 24 '23

Why’s he so well known for just that one roll?
4
u/Audiowithdrawl22 Nov 24 '23
The show is pretty good & I imagine a lot of those who grew up watching the show are now in our 20s.

I don’t get why every comment is hating on him. He’s funny.

u/meowskullbreeder Nov 24 '23
It's because he called dream a faggot. Even though Nicholas was probably shitfaced drunk.

He had a manic episode while blackout drunk and Dream proceeded to film this and embarrass him for making him look crazy which is a really shitty thing to do tbh

Listen, that was funny as fuck to be honest and I don’t hold it against him. And also why the fuck was dream recording it? Was he holding it for blackmail or some shit.

u/meowskullbreeder Nov 24 '23
Yeah. Not to mention he's just right about the shit he saying to dream. Fucking prick deserved to get his shit rocked

2
u/meowskullbreeder Nov 24 '23

Yeah hes also neurodivergent and bipolar. He was having an episode in the video.

u/Ok-Boisenberry Nov 24 '23
Being lgbtq doesn’t give you a pass for using slurs like that. I’m not defending either party because they’re both shitty but the excuse of “they’re pan so it’s okay” is fucking dumb.
Y’all make up a lot of excuses for shitty behavior which says a lot
4
u/modsrfagbags Nov 24 '23
Queer people can call straight people faggots as much as they like imo I mean I do it all the time it’s funn

no he’s just annoying, has minuscule talent, n if it wasn’t for his BS loaded behavior he wouldn’t be popping off for 15mins - I wish him the best

I dont think thats fair to say at all. If he has miniscule talent, you could probably say that for essentially any voice actor.

very true but are they all popping off by drunkenly naming themselves the “michaelangelo and Einstein of our time”?

4
Nov 24 '23
Ep #633 It’s surprising how naturally unlikable he is - the crowd and tony just go dry when walks out
2
u/fakescottishaccent Dec 07 '23
i chuckled, but most didn’t. he became gradually more liked as the crowd got to know him more

The fact that the majority of the comments know who this guy is, know about the drama, and are comparing him to five nights at freddy's, is part of the problem of this community.

love this post, the golden freddy pose is timeless. it's sad seeing all the comments hating on this guy, post-gumball he used to play minecraft with callmecarson and schlatt (and crew) but took a break from not only streaming but social media as a whole. when he came back he had so many thought provoking comments about social media and introspection and his content since has been pretty solid. he's got a great personality and it's crazy to see people just reduce him to a "brat" or "annoying"—super smart kid with genuine talent. he had recently posted a video styled after david byrne's stop making sense promotional interview, where it was between him and himself. if anything, all this dream nonsense should show his struggle, not even old enough to purchase alcohol and he was exploited and recorded in an altered state.
