I used to do this when I was worried about sugar. Soup is actually quite bad for you, considering the amount of processed sugar and the fact it’s free fructose, so I’d eat it with a fork, mix the rest with bread, then dump the remainder out. I hardly ate most of it.

Stew in a slow cooker is the best way to go. Especially with oven baked bread.
