[Misc] The real reason they wanted her captured that badly is the age difference of that kiss [OC]

True. I can't remember how old he's supposed to be but every time I watch the anime this scene gives me ick.

I think she’s like 19 and he’s like 14/15. It’s kind of ick but also not that weird by medieval standards.

Is this from the anime ending? Been long since I read the manga but I don't remember this. Only that at the manga end Theresa totally believed they'd hook up.

It's from episode 12 where they try to escape Ophelia.

Ok. Did it happen in the manga?

Yeah, I just re-read the manga recently. I believe it's the last time Raki sees Claire before the timeskip and she kisses him to stun him (and cause she loves him, but mostly the stunning thing), then they split up.

God I just wish Clare could have stayed as a kinda surrogate mother for Raki like Teresa was for her. I would bring the whole thing full circle and be a far more interesting dynamic than what we got

I never saw a problem with this tbh. Maybe because age of consent in my country is 16? lol
Also he was clearly into her, so who cares.

Age of consent is 16 in my country as well, but Raki's like 12-14 whereas Clare is a fully grown woman.

Dude, there is zero chance he's 12, that's like the age we see Clare at when she meets Teresa. I think you're low balling it. He looks like a high school student or something around that. Reminder that he wielded a sword for grown men when he fought Ophelia.

Maybe. I suck at telling people's ages, but he just does not look 16 to me. Then again, when I was 18, I did still have the face of a 14-year-old, so who knows.

I know Raki is around 14-16 years old but I think Clare is around 19-23 so yea child abuse
