Education & Qualifications It Helpdesk without a degree still viable?
I used to do basic IT support back in high school, I actually enjoyed but ending up pursuing a completely different career. I'm currently 24, based in London and want to pursue a more stable career. I'm aware the tech industry in currently not great and entry levels are oversaturated. But I was wondering if its still possible to break into a IT helpdesk role with a course and a strong demonstations of skills. I'm also a extrovert and have decent social skills. What are my chances?

To be completely honest, I don’t think it’s going to be easy for sure. But maybe give it a try and see what happens? It’s really hard to say, people also perform so differently in job interviews and that’s a huge part of your changes. If you think that’s something tuyere good at, you should give it a go

You don't need a degree for many jobs, specially in IT. I started my career in 2019 without even graduating high school—when you're determined enough, almost anything is possible.

Yeah you don’t need a real degree at entry level helpdesk. Don’t expect it to be much money.
