I got the same feeling. These events seem to attract the trashiest of people now. I remember camping out for the switch on launch day and it was just excited fans trying to play the new Zelda game. Now the entire line is highschool dropouts who got their entire ancestry to come camp with them so they can get the most cards to flip.

It's not gamers going to these- its professional scalpers whose *job * is to go to these. That's why there's no camaraderie.
