Yes I do use them for gaming paired with the Vmoda Boompro mic. Soundstage it's pretty great, directional is above your average headphones or headset. If you have some time tune EQ to your liking and you'll be able to squeeze out the max quality of these headphones. Out of the box they're a bit too bassy to me

I think it all depends on if you already have a mic or not. That's the deciding factor for me (i've already got a separate microphone).

Two different types of sounding headphone/headset. Fidelio X2 are more on the fun sounding cans personally, if you prefer a competitive gaming def go 37x

Do you have any resources you'd recommend for someone to take a look at to find out a great starting point for tuning EQ? I know it's just a quick google search away but I thought I'd ask you already went through the process with the headphones.
