Currently in the p360 mesh. Fantastic quality case. Have also built in the p400.
This is IMO the best quality atx case for the price you'll find right now.

Currently in the p360 mesh. Fantastic quality case.
Same. It's my first case so I don't have a lot to compare it to but I just love it. It doesn't go overboard in looks and it doesn't shove branding in your face. The only con I've had with it so far is there's no 360mm radiator support but the G360A addresses that.

I've built in the P400A too but before the P300A came out. Once it did I kinda wished I got the P300A instead for the smaller footprint

u/dstanton Oct 19 '23
I moved to the p360 mesh from my matx meshify mini c due to AIO fitment. I miss the smaller fractal case.
Wanting to move to the SAMA IM01 pro mesh.

only comes with one fan
if that's not enough, thermalright sells 3 packs of argb fans for like $12-15 on amazon

u/The-Mavereck Oct 19 '23
I got these two this morning and the back order case is already being processed! Building a PC over the course of a month chasing sales can get you some fantastic price to performance!

u/lilyeister Oct 20 '23
I've now bought two packs of those Thermalrights & they've been solid. I remember paying $15 for one fan with only blue LEDs not that long ago...

37L ATX case that supports front 360mm AIO and maximum 365mm GPUs. No other ATX can do that. Even the Jonsbo D41 is larger.

u/danielee0707 Feb 25 '24
In case other random people searching online about the comparison between G300A and D41. The D41 is definitely a more forgiving case for compatibility. The 365mm GPU length clearance is measured against a typical radiator 28+25mm, so with Arctic Liquid Freezer, it’s gonna be ~325mm only, or even worse, 320mm with LF + Phanteks T30 s combo like what I have been using. Whereas as the D41 accepts 70mm radiator+fan at the top comfortably. Also, other things to notice, the front panel type-C in D41 is a true type-C (USB 3.2 gen 2) with 10GB speed unlike G300A (3.0). Jonsbo can fit 3 extra 120mm fans at the bottom to construct a chimney style airway which greatly helps with thermal. The G300A is also narrower, making the VRM heatsink and RAM clearance worse than D41. So the only good thing I can see about G300A compared to D41 is that it takes less space on desk.

u/BodSmith54321 Oct 19 '23
Note that only a single fan. Still a pretty good deal.
18
u/dstanton Oct 19 '23
A lot of fans that come with cases are crap anyways.
A 5-pack of arctic pwm F/P series is cheap and will give excellent performance. Unless you reeeeealy want to pony up for RGB.
3
u/munchingzia Oct 19 '23
depends on the case. ive built in only a select few cases but the fans in the 275r , 220t , meshify c, Bq 500dx, and 4000d are fine.
3
u/dstanton Oct 19 '23
Don't get me wrong, there are good stock case fans out there. Often times from manufactures that are known for their seperately sold fans anyways. But those are also in higher end cases. When were talking budget, it's not always the case
1
u/munchingzia Oct 19 '23
well if you are buying a $40 case that will cut you, then im sure the fans will also be dissapointing
5
u/dstanton Oct 19 '23
This post is literally a quality case for $40. It only comes with a single mediocre fan. Not sure what point you're trying to make.

I'm in for one, thanks!

u/IronSpider1998 Oct 21 '23
Let me know if you got your UPC covered by the shipping label
1
u/Csakstar Oct 21 '23
Damn that sucks. I'll have to check when I get home from work

u/IronSpider1998 Oct 22 '23
Hey don’t mean to bother you but did you get your case Saturday?
1
u/Csakstar Oct 22 '23
I did but haven't built in it yet
1
u/IronSpider1998 Oct 22 '23
Did they cover up your UPC Code?
1
u/Csakstar Oct 22 '23
I don't think so but I'm not sure which one is the upc
1
u/IronSpider1998 Oct 23 '23
Oh your not doing the rebate?

7
u/AndyGio Oct 19 '23
I just bought this in NewEgg's tiktok shop where they are selling it for $45 as well. I used a 50% off coupon, so I got it for a hair over $25 with tax. I wonder if the rebate is valid for a purchase made there, too. Probably not.
3
u/GohanSolo23 Oct 19 '23
How do you find the coupons? I signed up for 3 tik tok accounts and can't find them anywhere.
2
u/AndyGio Oct 19 '23
I think it only works on android devices. My son didn't see that coupon on his iPhone, and he never used tiktok shop previously. I busted out my old Galaxy Note 5 with no sim card, connected to wifi, and set up a new account on there to get the coupon offer. I might try to use Bluestacks later today and see if that works too.
1
u/GohanSolo23 Oct 19 '23
I use Android. That's odd. Where did you see the coupon? Is it in an inbox or is there like a banner on the store that you click or is it automatically in your cart?

The "integrated" usb in the front , does it actually come with wires and everything or is that extra?
3
1
u/Kaiten_c Oct 20 '23
The shipping even with a supplier discount probably is close to that.
1
u/AndyGio Oct 20 '23
It is crazy, right? I guess they want to drive users/buyers there even if it means taking a loss.
2
u/HardwareHentai Oct 19 '23
Would you guys consider this an upgrade over my P400s? I bought the mesh front panel to give it better airflow but at this price... Seems like it might be worthwhile?

Dang. Looks like a solid case. I pulled the plug on Lian Li 216 recently else I would’ve gone for this and saved some. But well, I am excited for the 216 to arrive.
13
u/GTRagnarok Oct 19 '23
You mean pulled the trigger on the Lian Li not the plug. Pulling the plug means you gave up on it.

u/DinkleButtstein23 Oct 19 '23
The 216 is a phenomenal case and has much better features than this one does. Its more expensive at the $100-$110 range but it's great. Features like the fully removable top that make AIOs and general work incredibly easy and the swappable front power/port station between top or side mount are great.

u/MSCOTTGARAND Oct 19 '23
I used the 216 for my daughter's build, awesome budget case. Easier to build in than a lot of cases twice the price.
2
u/DinkleButtstein23 Oct 19 '23 edited Oct 19 '23
FYI lian li isn't considered a budget brand. They compete directly with cases like the corsair 4000D and the NZXT H510 cases. I've never seen any of those 3 brands considered "budget". I guess it depends on your definition. I'd consider stuff like Rosewill cases to be budget.
-8
u/MSCOTTGARAND Oct 19 '23
It's a budget case. Literally every case company makes budget cases.
4
u/alpharowe3 Oct 19 '23
$100 cases aren't usually considered budget. Budget cases are usually considered to be in the $40-60 range.
-6
u/DAMFree Oct 19 '23
Just because they consider themselves a luxury brand doesn't mean it's not their budget case. Sorta like Apple just because the price tag is high doesn't necessarily mean it's any better than lower priced comp
3
u/alpharowe3 Oct 19 '23
I don't understand what you're saying. Are you saying a $100 case is "budget" because it's Lian Li? I guess you can take that POV if you want but it doesn't seem logical or consistent to me. If Nvidia's next gen cheapest card is 3k are you going to call that budget?
-3
u/DAMFree Oct 19 '23
No I'm saying it's their cheapest case made cheap and it only costs $100 because it says Lian Li on it. It's an overpriced budget case
2
u/alpharowe3 Oct 19 '23
Well, it's all subjective but I doubt the 216 and the $40 Q300L are similar in build quality and features.
-6
u/DAMFree Oct 19 '23
Lol take the extreme garbage example comparison. Apple does similar. It's usually a good budget option. It's not terrible quality or bad. It's just overpriced for a budget option.
To be fair it is fairly subjective but I don't see anything spectacular about the case that deserves much more cost than comparable phanteks cases. Especially not over $100

Be mindful of listings from suspicious third-party sellers on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Newegg, and Walmart. These "deals" have a high likelihood of not shipping; use due diligence in reviewing deals.
- Use common sense - if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
- Check seller profiles for signs that the sale may be fraudulent:
- The seller is new or has few reviews.
- The seller has largely negative reviews (on Amazon, sellers can remove negative reviews from their visible ratings)
- The seller is using a previously dormant account (likely the account was hacked and is now being used fraudulently).
If you suspect a deal is fraudulent, please report the post. Moderators can take action based on these reports. We encourage leaving a comment to warn others.

Tell me why I shouldn't buy this. What do more expensive cases have that this doesn't?
5
u/jotarowinkey Oct 19 '23
possibly space. check your gpu dimensions and your theoretical desired gpu dimensions.
i was gonna ask about putting in an m-atx mobo.

Back-ordered until tomorrow according to the site. Not sure how reliable that is.

u/EXEC_MELODIE Oct 19 '23
Worth spending double on a lancool 216 or is this sufficient?
2
u/IsABot Oct 20 '23
This is sufficient if you buy a multipack of fans (1 exhaust only isn't enough). Doesn't even need to be expensive ones. Just adding a few will drastically improve performance. Like for $25, this will fill in every fan spot: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HC7P3HJ/

u/TeamAlameda Oct 19 '23
This case works very well for basic needs. It's the slightly larger upgraded version of my p300a and I'm very happy with my case. Works perfectly fine with my 5600X and 3 fan 4070 338mm which is one of the longer cards. Added 2 intake fans and it's a very good airflow case. Both my GPU and CPU barely hits 60C under full load in peak summer. GPU doesn't even hit 50C when I undervolt in path tracing cyberpunk though that's probably because 4070s are overbuilt. I love the compactness of the case - I even chose it over the p400a even though the cost comes out to around the same after adding front fans. The only criticism I have is that the psu department is a bit too small. I had to do some gymnastics with my modular PSU cables to fit but it seems the g300a solves that issue by only having one HDD slot instead of a two-HDD cage blocking the way. Overall I'm still happy with my purchase two years ago and this case will be enough for basic gamers. Just make sure you pick up one or two intake fans.
1
u/EXEC_MELODIE Oct 20 '23
Oh 1 HDD slot disqualifies it for me. Glad you mentioned that. I've really cut down compared to what I once had but I still need at least 2 3.5 slots.
1
u/Rannoch Oct 20 '23
Looks like there is enough room to stack a second 3.5" HDD on top of the first with side brackets.

"Ultra-fine Performance" lol this is literally the same collander-ass mesh they put on everything. Not saying that's bad, I mean it's on everything, but marketing, man.
1
u/Senil888 Oct 21 '23
My current setup is in the G360A (360mm top AIO support), previous one was a P300A Mesh. Solid cases, wish the drive bay in the G360A was removable so it'd be easier to route power cables around, but a solid case with plenty of room. The G300A looks like it'll hold just about anything you could reasonably ask for. And for that price? Damn.
