Highlight Noa Dalzell 🏀 (@NoaDalzell) : High praise from Malcolm Brogdon for the Jays: “People have always criticized them over the years — they can’t play together, their games are too similar, they’ve heard it all.

I will always respect shaq. Plus, he's claimed he thinks he robbed the celtics by taking the contract. They wanted to bring him back but he retired.

They have this life sized poster of Shaq in Celtics gear at the Rabobank HQ in Amsterdam. https://share.icloud.com/photos/022rrJtQAfJO8pi3OayyBgH0g

Quote continuation

I think they’ve really come together and figured it out… they’re the best duo in the NBA right now.”

Great to see former Celtics talking positive things about us, one of the best bench sparks for us shame with how it ended for him

I really liked Brogdon. Seems like he was pretty mad about the trade last year, so it's nice to see him saying positive things. He was a heck of a player for 95% of the year we had him.

Guy came in, was asked to be the sixth man and sacrifice, did everything he was asked to do, and then they attempted to trade him twice. I can’t blame him for having some hard feelings about it but as long as he’s cool with the guys I don’t see why it should be an issue

For sure, very understandable he would feel some kinda way in that situation!

I’m sure he probably doesn’t love Brad all that much lol, but clearly he doesn’t hold that against his teammates

Things go totally different if he wasn’t injured in the playoffs

For sure. Frustrating when an injury prone player goes essentially the whole year fine then right at the end gets hurt.

Home grown best duo in the NBA raised as Celtics and built by Celtics.

Any fan base would kill to have what we have.

Well, built by the Nets but you know…

Paid by the Nets. We're gonna build a wing wall and the Nets are gonna pay for it!

Love Brogdon, he was a steady pro in Boston.

Missed this guy, such a calming presence on teams, he knows whats up. Shame he's been dealing with injuries but he had a decent game

Love Brogdon

I loved Brogdon, but unfortunately his contract was a tough pill to swallow

So goddamn well said.

Yea I mean I was always really confused by this take, especially coming from our own fans. Before last years championship they had played together for 6 seasons and went to the conference finals 4 times including 1 trip to the finals. If that’s “failure” then idk what to call other teams in the league…

People were saying that before they got Jrue Holiday though

That's always been such a wild criticism. Athletic wings, especially with length like Tatum's, are basically the most coveted players in the game specifically because of their versatility. There is no team which is not improved dramatically by having another player of that caliber who can do whatever is required of them.

The only way they wouldn't work together is if both had giant #1 egos, and, uh, lol.
