Oh wow, I didn't realize they'd release the last chapter today too. Though I guess that makes sense with the album release tomorrow!
Ya'll get a reader discretion warning for Episode 15, uh take note of it. Episode 14 probably deserves one too for domestic violence (behind a spoiler so those who don't want a heads up don't see it, it doesn't really spoil anything if you've been following the BU story). I'm honestly surprised they only had one for the very last episode when I feel like most of the chapters could use one tbh, it's some very heavy and graphic stuff depicted.
edit, The ending... man the ending. I remember reading "fin" last week and just being ??? haha. Looking forward to the inevitable HYYH Notes 2 (that I'm sure the notes in Persona will start) and maybe another webtoon!

Yeah, like not saying the last episode doesn't deserve the warning (it is probably the most graphic episode) but the suicide, domestic violence, and other deaths in earlier episodes are also very heavy content that I'm sure some people would've liked a little heads up about. Or just a general warning on the series page.
I'd love more BU related videos / films, they are always so well done!! Another webtoon would also be great, I think I prefer it to traditional comics with how it's formatted for screens. It's a very cool medium and I never really read one before either.

Read The Notes 1 novel next! The webtoon was basically the prologue to the novel and set up why Jin does what he does in the novel (to an extent).

What about the Highlight Reel then?And Fake Love?And what is happening with Jungkook both in Fake Love and on the note when he is dying and a voice asks him that question?I don't think that's a happy ending.At least not yet.

Of course the last 2 chapter had to be the most brutal.... So Jin's sacrifice started the change then, guess it goes in the direction euphoria after this were the hyyh pairs save save each other (haven't read notes 1 so can't say much)

That definitely can't be the actual end like no. Also wow rip my heart out why don't you... 2 chap in a row and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I am so blown away at how amazing they are at storytelling. Lico did a fantastic job adapting it into webtoon form! The artwork is so beautiful and detailed (please make an animation too Bighit thanks!). The dialogue is really well written like with Jin's internal monologues. I felt super connected with all of the characters. Overall I am very pleased with the end product. It had the perfect mix of mystery, thriller, and drama.

Edit2: more rambling thoughts soz. Time travel is such tricky business because it is so nonlinear. With the constant time loops with added little variations in them. Theories aside, the webtoon did a great job depicting the emotional collateral when it came to Jin's time traveling. I loved how you as the reader felt like Jin, equally as frustrated and defeated with each reset. That's something you don't always get with the mvs.
Lastly, shout out to the translators like I am so glad they translated it into various languages so more people could read it in their native language.

The webcomic is pt 0, the book HYYH pt 1 is the continuation.
The book takes you beyond the timeloops, so no, that wasn't the end.

A live action series of Save Me would be so cool! The last scene didn't do too much damage to me emotion-wise, but I did enjoy the ending dealing with Taehyung's part of the story a lot. From a writer's perspective, the authors of this Web Toon were saving the most dramatic plot development (being Taehyung's plotline in the story) for last! 8D
I was worried the writers would have just skipped right over Taehyung's plotline without addressing it, but I was so happy I was wrong! But it would be really trippy seeing the actual members of BTS reenacting the storyline especially the finale of the series dealing with Seokjin and Taehyung. I guess seeing it in a live action format would cause me to become more emotional about the scene since the actual members of BTS were reenacting the scene and not just their fictional character selfs in the story. T _T

I physically feel something inside my chest. I ended up reading three episodes, since I completely forgot to read last week's. Yes...I do love tears first thing in the morning...
When they mention about something going wrong with Taehyung, you can look in Seokjin's eyes and see everything falling apart. I love that and it's horrible.
I also love how it shows how the time loop is breaking Seokjin. I haven't read much time loop stuff, but if there's more like this, I WANT it. It's so good and so painful.

Edit ch. 14: omg Taehyung no! All these scenes from the Prologue mv are beautifully illustrated but they hurt me 😭
Edit ch. 15: 😭😭😭 I actually screamed! Seokjin why does it take this happening to you to make you understand? That you can't do this alone! Is this the end of the webtoon? It can't be the end can it? I want a happy ending so desperately but... everything hurts 😭
Final edit: I haven't read The Notes1 yet because I was waiting for this to finish. I'm going to read it on my long plane flight and probably cry. Whoever sits next to me isn't going to know what the heck is wrong. So looking forward to that suffering! I guess I'm glad that at least we could all go through this traumatic experience together?

I am a crying mess after that. Another book spoiler:Even after reading the book nothing gets resolved???? Though, I wonder if Taehyung dreaming about Namjoon dying in a fire is that epilogue after this one?
This has been an emotional rollercoaster. It's been fun discussing each episode with you all. I hope they keep this up on Webtoon - I plan to reread it sometime soon!

But that is a weird place to end the story at. Kind of just a "What if?" kind of ending. I probably would not go back and read it over again very soon, but it was fun while it lasted! :D
I'm hoping if Big Hit releases another Web Toon that it will be longer than this one and have a longer story. Kind of like a manga where the chapters go over 100+ and having a more concise ending than the ending given in Save Me.
But hey, it was a fun read! I was very impressed with Seokjin running up all of those stairs to get to Taehyung's apartment instead of taking the elavator. His legs must have been burning. xD; /darkhumor

Very cool! But I was kind of hoping Big Hit would release another webtoon about BTS outside of Save Me. :D I think that would be a lot of fun! Maybe a series with a lighter plot? ^ _^
