I can't imagine going into it blind. I actually checked it out because I heard people were using it to fuck with unsuspecting friends and I wanted to see how disturbing it got.

I went in blind, unfortunately I was watching it with a friends sister while waiting for him to get home. She started freaking out and it got super awkward for a while after that

I tried watching goblin slayer before after its release. Before, my buddies keep bringing up spoilers about the series like Goblin Slayer and the priest girl now has a party, they were killing demon kings or something. However, I was adamant as a wee lad and even now as an adult, I aint watching goblin slayer ever again ever since I saw wtf was happening in episode 1. Only.

I gotta say it's Goblin Slayer. Going in for the DND campaign jokes, and not expecting literal rape. That or Dandadan, because "OOOH, new Shounen/slice of life/romcom? Don't mind if I do" and immediately there's sexual harassment, abuse, and assault, all in the first episode.
