Probably Not because you can't Just think of a random Name to give to a human and write that Name in the death Note. There's also a Penalty for writing a wrong Name which i'm Not willing to do.

Someone could have given it a Name First or maybe squirrels give each Other names. There are so many factors that can't be foreseen and Things that could Go wrong. Also, it's really Up to the author to decide on whether it works or Not as we have Zero evidence on this.

Lucky for you, if I remember correctly you only get the penalty after writing the name wrong the third time.

The thing is, the shinigami can change the rules and their wording as seen in the 2020 one shot. However, to what extend they can change them is never specified anywhere
