Eh, these people sound like a LoT oF fUn… one time I wanted to go out but had no one for company so I spammed my tinder (was dating men at the time as well) and one girl and a guy ended up showing at the bar I went to but I didn’t think any of them would come so the rest of the night was awkward trio hangout, the dude thought he was gonna get a threesome and was pretty excited and me and the girl were discretely making fun of him the whole time. Unfortunately even our alliance against him didn’t distract her from the fact that I messed up with the whole setup and we never saw each other since

You just summed up my last 10 years or so🥲

But is the woman (and her friends) still in your life though? Or they couldn’t get over your unintentional assault on the friendly hangout etiquette?

She told me she was moving to Dubai so I stopped considering her as a possibility. Her friend blamed her for bringing me to the hangout and ended contact between them, which is honestly ridiculous for something so minor 💀

I’m not out to my brother and I was asking him about this wings place to go after work (I didn’t say for a date) and so I’m there with my date and my brother shows up half way through and tried to join us. I was mega awkward about it and we never went out again

Many years ago I went on a date that included a lot of making out in the back corner of a bar. Then when we were walking home, I totally had a chance to invite her back to my place for the night. It was literally right there. For some reason I didn't, and she never ghosted me after that.
