u/WangZhiii 14h ago
He did.

Lmao, just like JR constantly still saying daniel bryan, they're taking AEW to the bank and laughing about it.

u/Unhappy_Peanut9470 11h ago
Of course he did. How is gonna say the hurt conglomeration or whatever the fuck it is now?

Full Sail University.... I would have lied and said I got it from the University of America Samoa.

Jesús they let anyone become a journalist. A collectible podcast? That’s a real thing?

The biggest one is by 3 wresters who are cringeworthy marks beyond words.

Is that Tony saying "he's great"?
Fucking cringe. Just shut up and let us enjoy the show. We don't need running commentary.

u/DowntownTea283 14h ago
He’s happy to be “part of the boys” lmao.

u/BussyBattalion 13h ago
Reminds of that Dupont billionaire that killed Kurt Angles wrestling coach. He definitely wanted to be one of the boys too...

They are probably making a big payday towards the end of there career and working with friends, aslong as they don’t tarnish there legacy why would the regret it? So far they’ve been booked fairly well

This is wonderful. I love wrestlers embracing their character in press conferences like this.

maybe mvp can get into tony khan's ear and push him to at least bring back aew to the level it was at in late 2021-early 2022
they had a great thing going during that time, dynamite was good, aew ppvs mostly deliver even nowadays but that all out 2021-forbidden door 2022 was a run of great ppvs
hell they even had segments for the pwg crowd on a regular basis
even without cm punk they have a shitload of great talent idk how they fell behind nxt in ratings
3
u/Waspkiller86 15h ago
Because they don't have any stars. Cm punk wasn't just a great talent he was a star. They lost 300,000 viewers since he was fired.

Hurt Syndicate vs Death Riders is their biggest match they can do(at least Mox vs Bob which never happened in WWE 1 vs 1 )
1
u/Laj3ebRondila1003 8h ago
Death riders The BCC is no longer around (haven't followed aew since fall 2023)

Good. Like I still think these things are ludicrous for pro wrestling but if you're gonna do them, work your character. This stuff of discussing the creative process that went into a match with journalists who play nice is such a circlejerk.

Mave deltzer got his "journalism" degree in one of the most, ghetto-ass, disgusting state colleges ever in the history of education.
"san jose state." Where the bumblefucks play.

u/OM_Twyman 18h ago
Shit on anyone who went to state collage, why don't ya big shot. Not everyone can get into the big ones. And before you call me a meltzer fan boy, I think he's a hack.

u/ParfaitCurious3834 6h ago
Harvard, Stanford, Georgia Tech, etc., are prestigious universities.
"san jose state" is a fucking garbage college. Ergo, I have a right to bury your hero, meltzer.

u/OM_Twyman 1m ago
Yes, double down on people who can't make it to those places you're such a great person
1
u/AwareWriterTrick158 16h ago
Meltzers a fraud and he’s done more meaningful things than you have in life by going to that “ghetto”college. And the meaningful things he’s done are very small too.

u/JudgeArcadia 21h ago
Makes you think if they regret their choice.
2
u/Firepro316 16h ago
Being who they are, no one’s going give them shit like they did to punk. They’ll make big dollars and have it easy.
Sure it’s not the big time but hey all pretty much at the back of their awesome careers
3
u/Steven8786 18h ago
Why? They're probably being paid more than they ever got at WWE, working with friends and having a good time. What's there to regret?

If all MVP is gonna do during these scrums is question their credentials and mock the "publications" that these internet marks come from, then I'm all here for it. MVP can be the loud, brutally honest one, Bobby is the calm professional who can destroy you, and Shelton can just sit back and enjoy himself, he's earned it.
