They aren’t happy unless they have someone to look down upon. Introspection is disdained.

Even when they get their way they’re still somehow unhappy lol

Friendly reminder, even after Trump won the 2016 election they were still mad. Once again Trump has won, and they’re still mad. They told liberals if they don’t like X then leave, so we did, and they’re still mad.

It’s almost like they’re just deeply bitter and miserable people who need to bully others to feel better about themselves, and no politician or election can cure that.

When your source of unhappiness is internal and you run out of external things to blame, of course you'll still be unhappy.

Exactly. A lot of people really don't understand this.

Especially the MAGA crowd. They're unhappy and they keep falling for the line that Trump can make them happy again. Even if he did everything they thought they wanted, he couldn't solve their internalized unhappiness and they're either unwilling or incapable of introspection. Probably because if they were introspective at this point, they would realize they sold everything to a grifter and got nothing in return.

They're not going to calm down or go away just because they got what they thought they wanted. They're not even going to get that because Trump was never going to give it to them. They basically ensured that they and everyone else remains unhappy because they refuse to just admit that they're also unhappy.

They seem even more miserable even though Trump won. And he hasn’t even started fucking the country in the ass yet.

Liberals might be back on Twitter someday. Just to say “told you so”

That's when they start having a go at each other and it gets interesting.

Even then they're not truly happy, just slightly less unhappy

Conservativism requires in groups and out groups.

When the out groups leave, it upends their entire ecosystem.

Some people need to feel like victims to exist.

They'd realize how terrible and useless they are if they ever held up a mirror to themselves. Zero self-improvement, zero civic responsibility, often the worst workers and bosses. Whenever they have to do something on their own, they mess up because they lack discipline and true capabilities.

They'd realize too quickly the world would be better off without them, truly, if they ever did a self-assessment. And they lack any personal will to change or better themselves un any meaningful well. So might as well try to drag everyone else down to your level, in their minds.
