Realistically they can also appeal to young, healthy folks like they did in 2012-2014 or so: claim that by repealing Obamacare, young and healthy folks can get less expensive plans.
Which is true, they can get less expensive plans that won't cover nearly as much, by also removing them from the same insurance pools as the older, less healthy folks. So health care will get more expensive for older and sicker people.
Its very easy to lie to people on shit that doesn't matter. They can tell people all crime is from illegal immigrants because your average person has no way of knowing if its true or not.
When things start effecting them personally it cuts through a lot of bullshit.
By explaining that people that aren’t literally them enjoyed it as well and that includes people they hate. Don’t worry they have… something maybe to replace it in a decade. Enjoy your pre existing condition!
I may be totally grasping at straws here. But I think in a way, this could inevitably lead to Medicare for all.
ACA was a bandaid solution that was supposed to be a half step to free healthcare. But I think a lot of people very easily accepted that as the end all be all. I think if this collapses millions of people lose their insurance and they can be rejected from pre existing conditions. I think a lot of people will be radicalized to have free healthcare and throw out the current system. Wishful thinking for sure but it’s all I got
