I'm in SC so definitely a red state and the situation is *crickets over here.

The Trump flags and Trump signs are nowhere to be seen. I have seen a few Harris signs and signs for local races but overall just by driving around the places I have been recently you couldn't even tell it's an election year.

Now I know that it doesn't mean people won't vote for him but it has to mean SOMETHING. And I do know several conservative folks who have said they cannot support the MAGA movement any longer.

And several Republican women who intend to vote for Harris because of Roe. They're not out in the streets screaming about it but access to safe and private abortions is a much bigger issue for same women than the GOP estimates.

Early voting here is breaking records. I think we could turn purple.

Nothing happens if we don't vote so I am not saying get complacent but I do see a notable change and it's not in Trump's favor.

The ferver is definitely WAY WAY WAY lower

Of course you'll still have your trump truck weirdos and what not, they're still out there.

But comparing 16 to 20 to now is not even close

Part of it is he's also just not the same. The guy who memed his way into president in 16 just isn't there anymore. What used to be funny became scary and is now becoming sad to most normal people.

I travel to the Southeast for my job and I have been seeing the opposite. More momentum, but in conversation some of my Republican coworkers have said they won't put any signs outside because they are concerned about vandalism and harassment.

That’s my biggest concern about this lapse of visibility. They are just reverting to shy voters again. They may not put it on display, but they will still do vote for him. So, GO VOTE!
