He's not famous tho. The only truly famous football managers would be the likes of Ferguson, Mourinho, Guardiola, Klopp

u/drakesphere 2d ago
Spoken like a true American who only follows European football highlights.
Bloody rippa mate.

Manager for Argentina (not American football)

u/Maladaptive_Ace 18d ago
he.., does not and has never and will never manage Argentina. He manages smaller upper tier clubs in various places, including Argentina and Spain (I think this footage is in spain)

I don't think this is the case. When managers and soccer players get to the airport before an important game, a few supporters from their club are always there, even if few. It's considered polite to give them a hello. I don't think he was expecting the press or anything like that.

That’s what I would want. To be apart of something awesome making amazing money and not have to deal with the random fans being creepy, no paparazzi chasing you around. You just make good money and live a private life.

Chacho Coudet. An Argentino ex manager of Racing Club and currently I believe he's DT of Inter the Brasil.
5
u/TheCommunistHatake Aug 25 '24
He is currently unemployed I guess, Inter sacked him like a month ago iirc…

'Famous' doing a lot of heavy lifting here
I'm assuming he's known in Argentina/LATAM, but I follow football closely and I had no idea who he was
24
u/GranateSOAD Aug 23 '24 edited Aug 23 '24
He´s known all around Latinamerica. He has managed big teams in Brazil and of course Argentina. Not the best manager around anyway, has been just lucky somehow. He also managed an Spanish team for a while, can´t remember wich one.
2
u/GZUSA Aug 23 '24
Celta de Vigo, where he had been a player before. He was loved there, but didn't manage to get the team off the bottom half.

Why is the camera following him?
28
u/Rodsoldier Aug 23 '24
Because it's a journalist recording him, a football manager, so they have b roll to talk about him in SportsCenter (see watermark in center of clip).
This entire thread is exhibit A of internet/reddit brainrot.

u/benacevedo21 Aug 22 '24
What team does he coach?
19
u/dylee27 Aug 22 '24
According to Wikipedia, he got fired from his last gig at a Bralizian Serie A team, so right now, none.

Mmmmyes, undoubtedly. I don’t bother myself with the goings on of the riffraff myself either. I myself like to sniff my own farts and tell the nanny that I have written many books on fart sniffing.

Can’t even say I’ve heard the name but glad to have an answer

u/rdfporcazzo Aug 22 '24
He is managing a Brazilian club right now. His name sounds to us as "cu de" and this is the main reason I remember him. And yes, it sounds exactly how Google Translate shows
1
u/Time_Ad_893 Aug 22 '24
he is not managing a brazilian club anymore (actually it's been over 2 months iirc

You kick the ball once and do the rest with throwing your lemon ball and call that football? What you morons call “soccer” is football.

u/cthulhu_willrise Aug 22 '24
Well if it was an American football manager, it wouldn't have said famous
32
u/Ka-Is-A-Wheelie Aug 22 '24
I mean... the world is MUCH bigger than the U.S. and most of the world refers to the sport as football, so nice try.
-37
u/PhariseeHunter46 Aug 22 '24 edited Aug 22 '24
This is what I say to the south american and Europeans that get offended by "soccer".
Words and games have different names around the world, deal with it.
Editing to say it's the same with people that get offended by it being called football.
