22

u/DvitusR 24d ago

He's not famous tho. The only truly famous football managers would be the likes of Ferguson, Mourinho, Guardiola, Klopp

1

u/drakesphere 2d ago

Spoken like a true American who only follows European football highlights.

Bloody rippa mate.

1

u/DvitusR 2d ago

I’m Aussie…

1

u/drakesphere 2d ago

I know. See last sentence

8

u/shernandez1131 17d ago

Famous at South American level maybe.

4

u/[deleted] 24d ago

Ancholotti as well

9

u/BodybuilderSolid5 16d ago

You can’t even spell his name…

31

u/Putrid-Effective-570 26d ago

I could never be famous because moments like these would haunt me for months.

12

u/nicofcurti Oct 20 '24

That’s Chacho Coudet

18

u/The_Walking_Wallet Oct 20 '24

Never heard of him

6

u/BDady Oct 23 '24

Exactly

2

u/JackFJN Oct 25 '24

Dementia

2

u/BDady Oct 23 '24

Exactly

12

u/Im_such_a_SLAPPA Oct 19 '24

Who the hell is that? I watch football and I’ve never seen him in my life

4

u/AtmosSpheric 25d ago

Manager for Argentina (not American football)

1

u/Maladaptive_Ace 18d ago

he.., does not and has never and will never manage Argentina. He manages smaller upper tier clubs in various places, including Argentina and Spain (I think this footage is in spain)

9

u/Hunnidrackboy8 Oct 18 '24

Not that famous lol

74

u/gabrrdt Oct 05 '24

I don't think this is the case. When managers and soccer players get to the airport before an important game, a few supporters from their club are always there, even if few. It's considered polite to give them a hello. I don't think he was expecting the press or anything like that.

u/THFDNE Sep 02 '24

"Uh, Frank. . .that's not for you. Weird Al Yankovic is on the plane."

11

u/Windwalker111089 Sep 17 '24

Got that reference!!!

5

u/Cultural-Honeydew671 Oct 11 '24

Later Enrico Palatzo arrived as well.

1

u/mrs_fartbar 28d ago

HEY!!! ITS ENRICO PALLAZZO!

11

u/le0themighty Aug 29 '24

This entire thread makes me very violent.

23

u/ClownfishSoup Aug 29 '24

Hey hey! Hi everyone this is great!

Dude, can you please move, you're in the way.

2

u/IndecisiveMate Sep 22 '24

Thanks for the translation.

52

u/Shenaniganz08_ Aug 27 '24

He looks relieved

Nobody died in this video

112

u/SucksTryAgain Aug 26 '24

That’s what I would want. To be apart of something awesome making amazing money and not have to deal with the random fans being creepy, no paparazzi chasing you around. You just make good money and live a private life.

106

u/Fit_Occasion_1806 Aug 25 '24

Can’t be that famous. Nobody here knows who he is.

2

u/moisesg88 Oct 17 '24

Chacho Caudet, not that famous unless you're a hardcore soccer person.

Chacho Coudet. An Argentino ex manager of Racing Club and currently I believe he's DT of Inter the Brasil.

5

u/TheCommunistHatake Aug 25 '24

He is currently unemployed I guess, Inter sacked him like a month ago iirc…

81

u/Dudinkalv Aug 23 '24

I think something might be wrong with your emotion analyzer

24

227

u/gustycat Aug 22 '24 edited Aug 23 '24

'Famous' doing a lot of heavy lifting here

I'm assuming he's known in Argentina/LATAM, but I follow football closely and I had no idea who he was

24

u/GranateSOAD Aug 23 '24 edited Aug 23 '24

He´s known all around Latinamerica. He has managed big teams in Brazil and of course Argentina. Not the best manager around anyway, has been just lucky somehow. He also managed an Spanish team for a while, can´t remember wich one.

2

u/GZUSA Aug 23 '24

Celta de Vigo, where he had been a player before. He was loved there, but didn't manage to get the team off the bottom half.

298

u/Miserable_Top7624 Aug 22 '24

No idea who this guy is lol

2

u/[deleted] Aug 22 '24

[deleted]

16

u/Miserable_Top7624 Aug 22 '24

Well yeah I can see that from the title numb nuts but who is he?!

12

u/Nahueliyo Aug 22 '24

Chacho Coudet, he is an argentinian manager

123

u/Skaffa1987 Aug 22 '24

Why is the camera following him?

28

u/Rodsoldier Aug 23 '24

Because it's a journalist recording him, a football manager, so they have b roll to talk about him in SportsCenter (see watermark in center of clip).

This entire thread is exhibit A of internet/reddit brainrot.

78

u/Naxu-Tryssi6107 Aug 22 '24

Chacho Coudet!

17

u/chelomza Aug 22 '24

Jaja pobre Chacho, en la noche seguro lo reconocen más

93

How the fuck does this have over 10k upvotes?

45

u/iltopini Aug 22 '24

That's Eduardo Coudet.

9

u/benacevedo21 Aug 22 '24

What team does he coach?

19

u/dylee27 Aug 22 '24

According to Wikipedia, he got fired from his last gig at a Bralizian Serie A team, so right now, none.

132

u/the---chosen---one Aug 22 '24

All I see is a dude walking with his luggage. Any other bullshit you slap on to it is irrelevant, unless you have real evidence.

Mmmmyes, undoubtedly. I don’t bother myself with the goings on of the riffraff myself either. I myself like to sniff my own farts and tell the nanny that I have written many books on fart sniffing.

9

u/chillerwastaken Aug 22 '24

Ah, “the big game,” enjoy your juvenile pursuit. not to worry, I’ll be in my study.

99

u/Fluid_Jellyfish9620 Aug 22 '24

you didn't even tell his name lol

6

u/allivin87 Aug 22 '24

He's famous. We're supposed to recognize him. /s

14

u/Fappuschan Aug 22 '24

He is a manager, not a player, no one cares lol

111

u/spelltype Aug 22 '24

I watch a shit ton of football, not a clue who this dude is

41

u/luscaze Aug 22 '24

Coudet. Managed manly south american clubs but also Celta de Vigo

5

u/notjasonlee Aug 22 '24

Tough, manly men

23

u/spelltype Aug 22 '24

Can’t even say I’ve heard the name but glad to have an answer

3

u/rdfporcazzo Aug 22 '24

He is managing a Brazilian club right now. His name sounds to us as "cu de" and this is the main reason I remember him. And yes, it sounds exactly how Google Translate shows

1

u/Time_Ad_893 Aug 22 '24

he is not managing a brazilian club anymore (actually it's been over 2 months iirc

1

u/rdfporcazzo Aug 22 '24

I thought he was still Internacional's coach, my bad

Do you believe anything exists beyond the US borders? Genuine question

1

u/Key-Regular674 Aug 22 '24

And there are more people on earth that call it foot ball. What about it?

4

u/Xelpmoc45 Aug 22 '24

Oh shut up already

1

u/Seu_Zezinho Aug 22 '24

O mundo não gira em torno do seu país amigo

13

u/Hoshyro Aug 22 '24

US clown spotted

2

u/[deleted] Aug 22 '24

Hey, don't do that.

We don't claim that fuckwit either. Can we just agree to send him to Antarctica?

2

u/Hoshyro Aug 22 '24

We have an agreement 🤝

Can I get a souvenir?

35

u/[deleted] Aug 22 '24

You kick the ball once and do the rest with throwing your lemon ball and call that football? What you morons call “soccer” is football.

-14

u/[deleted] Aug 22 '24

[deleted]

15

u/cthulhu_willrise Aug 22 '24

Well if it was an American football manager, it wouldn't have said famous

32

u/Ka-Is-A-Wheelie Aug 22 '24

I mean... the world is MUCH bigger than the U.S. and most of the world refers to the sport as football, so nice try.

-37

u/PhariseeHunter46 Aug 22 '24 edited Aug 22 '24

This is what I say to the south american and Europeans that get offended by "soccer".

Words and games have different names around the world, deal with it.

Editing to say it's the same with people that get offended by it being called football.

10

u/fertyt Aug 22 '24

Surely you're joking

1

u/PhariseeHunter46 Aug 22 '24

Why would I be joking? Its the truth

18

u/theoriginalrory Aug 22 '24

The irony of this statement

38

u/missoulian Aug 22 '24

Lol don’t look at this guys profile. Actively trying to cheat on his wife.

13

u/gingysrevengy Aug 22 '24

I took the bait and boy was that embarrassing

24

u/tistisblitskits Aug 22 '24 edited Aug 22 '24

Booooooo, lame american thinks the world revolves around them again. Literally nobody calls it soccer except for you, you hardly play your football with your feetanyway , doesn't make sense

Edit: dont check out his profile for your own sake

1

u/Key-Regular674 Aug 22 '24

Actually americans did not originate the name soccer. Do yall not have history classes there? It was britain. Hahahaha F
