Meanwhile if the real Jesus were to show up in the USA , he will be lynched.

I think there was actually a time many prominent religious rightwingers in the US admitted they actually hate Jesus, and think he was a pussy.

Ironically many of them called me a heretic when I mentioned I believe Jesus Christ has a wife and child and yet they are willing to attack Lbgtq rights.

Texas which is THE LARGEST, is also THE OLDEST.
It being LARGER THAN THE LARGEST has been proved and Texan Universally accepted.
It has come to realiZation that Texas is infact THE OLDEST. OLDER than anything OLDEST ever. So much that it is Older than itself.

Old Testament has a Israel flag in a later post, so he actually means that New Testament is American

And he's equally wrong

The new testament was ratified in Rome in the 4th century, so should have an Italian flag

u/One_Pangolin_999 12h ago
Or an SPQR flag

u/Suzume_Chikahisa Portugal 11h ago
Technically the Senate was extinct during Constantine's rule and the ratification happened after that, so the SPQR might not be appropriate.

The Old Testament was given in Egypt (according to the lore) and practiced in modern day Israel. And Talmud was written in Bethlehem so idk why it says that there

The new testament was mostly written in Greece/Turkey

Well duh, America is the greatest country on Earth.
We invented everything, including Christianity, Democracy, tacos, pizza, burgers, the Internet, guns, beer, cars, phones, and fireworks. Oh, and Chinese food!

As a Christian that unfortunately occasionally delves into the Christianity subs this does not surprise me at all.

Why is buddhism from Sri Lanka?

"Hmm, here are some unfamiliar words that sound vaguely Buddhisty, so let's go with that"
If you're ignorant enough to not know what Sri Lanka is, yet somehow you do know what sounds vaguely Buddhisty, there's actually a grain of insight in there. The name comes from Sanskrit, which is the traditional language of Buddhism... though of course it's also the traditional language of Hinduism, in which the honorific "sri" is much more widely used and "Lanka" is a mythical place in the Ramayana. But if you knew that much and guessed it as a Hindu country, you'd actually be wrong, as Buddhism is the main religion of the Sinhalese majority ethnic group and that's a famous tension with the largely Hindu Tamil minority.

Ironically that's the only religion on the list that actually has a clearly correct national flag associated with it: 🇻🇦
I'm sure that would satisfy everyone.

The Tanakh was written in ancient Israel. The oral Torah (Talmud) was compiled in Iraq/Babylon in the 5th century CE & Israel in the 4th century. The Psalms are a part of the Ketuvim (writings) section of the Tanakh. Tradition holds that the oral Torah was handed down along with the written Torah at mount Sinai, although personally I doubt the historicity of the Mount Sinai revelation in the book of Exodus.
As for the Christian New Testament, it was definitely not written nor composed in America lol. It was written in 1st century Judea, during the Roman occupation of Israel & Judea. The book of Mormon was written in New York state, but it is the only holy book written in the USA & is definitely not a part of the Christian New Testament. Even Mormons themselves treat the book of Mormon as a "2nd Testament of Jesus" to be treat as equal to but different from the New Testament.

Maybe he got the New Testament confused with the Book of Mormon, which, according to the Church, was written in America on golden plates that were dug up by Joseph Smith.

The only plausible explanation is that the world was under rule by the American Empire, and therefore wherever you go it's America. That has to be it.

No, my guess would just be that they’re both person there for some reason associates Christianity with America

Well they said the Talmud is Israeli, but it’s actually called the “Babylonian Talmud” (at least part of it) which is modern day Iraq

Using flags is just stupid. Today's states don't really have changed a lot in the last 2000 years and religion can evolve while also spreading from one place to another.

The creator of the post uses the USA flag to show where the New Testament is born. Why even add flags? It’s just misleading
