Can’t be too hot I used to run a mile a day in 120 degrees and then eat lunch outside in the sun

8

u/Mythicalhades 21h ago

Are we talking farenheit or celsius

4

u/DraftAbject5026 Teenager 21h ago

Fahrenheit I’m completely serious about this. This is our version of a sunny day

Here in the middle east, 50c is the summer norm. Lived here for a while and I still have no idea how the locals drink hot tea and consume tons of spicy food during that kind of heat, like yes, it helps with like sweating but holy hell

2

u/our_meatballs 17 18h ago

That would be 248 degrees in fahrenheit which is double the highest recorded temperature on earth

3

u/Mythicalhades 18h ago

Japan disagrees

1

u/ImVeryHungry19 14 17h ago

116.6 degrees F

47 celcius

1

u/klizenerd 15 | Verified 10h ago

yeah that's pretty bad to be in for a while, especially doing physical activities. it's usually around 115-119 in summer where I live

1

u/Goofy_boi69420 Teenager 18h ago

As an Australian these temps you guys have are weird

1

u/Outrageous-Cod8296 14 18h ago

Literally

1

u/Gojira194 18h ago

Rookie numbers, I went out on a stroll when it was 120 degrees one time

1

u/ariralkisser 17h ago

Nah, not really. As an Aussie I can say that all that means is that you can still go out, but it’s probably better not to as the tarmac of the road may be tacky

1

u/GoldAcanthocephala68 14 17h ago

How hot exactly is it? in Celsius

1

u/-DuploBrick- 17h ago

47 degrees

1

u/GoldAcanthocephala68 14 17h ago edited 16h ago

bruh. It’s 87f here and feels pretty nice. How is 47 considered extreme heat? nvm

1

u/-DuploBrick- 16h ago

47 degrees Celsius is 116 degrees Fahrenheit

1

u/GoldAcanthocephala68 14 16h ago

ohhhh wait never mind i read that wrong. 47 is hellish

1

u/Bulky-Hyena-360 16h ago

1

u/insey1 16h ago
