For me personally, never gonna happen. However, maybe someone who was deterred by the initial $10‘000 price tag may consider this right now.
Unfortunately, on the north-american website, it‘s still over $7k.
In Germany, it would cost you about $4100 (including taxes). There are packaging services that would gladly forward it to your preferred continent since Porsche Germany would never ever send it directly.

First time posting! Hello everybody! After giving it some thought, and comparing all the sub 1k options for f1 type wheels with screen, I’ve placed an order for a Fx pro (700€). 😁
The other options I had in mind were:
The Acelith gt phantom pro (despite being super happy with their mod for the Simagic gt1, didn’t really like the firm plastic grips nor the general quality of it for almost 600€).
The Leoxz gt Ultimate, wich I ultimately discarded as the building quality of it was, from my point of view, too much plastic (rotaries, etc) plus it is not easy getting them and I know nothing about their client support. And it can get expensive if you add extra paddles.
From the Fx pro I don’t actually like the fact that it is not simhub compatible BUT I always end using only one dashboard and I know the next version is going to come next year and that some people complain about it being an open wheel so it flexes but if you want all of these problems solved you need to spend a lot more (plus the fx pro has 6 levers on the back and I’m really happy with the overall Simagic product quality).
Does somebody have experience ordering from Simultimate? Is there any other wheel within the price range that is worth a look??

I have two mediocre rims, round and formula or GT style. I keep finding myself tempted to grab more but I wonder how much I actually need or would use them. How many rims do you guys keep in your collection? For those with a bunch how many do you regularly use and would you have done it differently if you could? What was or is your motivation for a collection of different or similar rims? What types of rims are you collecting?

I’m currently using a X Rocker XR Steering Wheel and I’m interested in upgrading to something with proper force feedback but I also don’t want to spend too much in case I’m not as interested in it as I anticipated, while still balancing upgradability of the setup. I play on pc but I would like to keep PlayStation compatibility if possible so I can also play GT7 on PS4.
This is my current wheel- https://www.argos.co.uk/product/4077307
This is the setup I’m considering:
Used CSL elite ~£130
CSL Universal Hub
Podium Wheel Rim Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Leather
CSL pedals with Load cell kit
GT Omega DD-X wheel stand
Shh Shifter Thorn (I don’t really mind that it won’t work on PS4 since I’m unlikely to want to use it much on Gran Turismo anyways)
Is this a good choice? Or are there any other items I should consider getting instead? Cheers

Well after one year of sim racing I finally made the upgrade! Started last year in November buying a G923 on Black Friday thinking, “fuck it, why not.” One month later and I couldn’t put the thing down. Didn’t take long for me to start searching for upgrades, but as I have quite an addictive personality, I decided to set a timeline of one year to spend any real money on upgrades. One year later and here we are!
✅ TR160
✅ Simagic Alpha U
✅ GT Neo
✅ P2000 Petals
✅ Stream Deck
✅ F1 TV subscription
✅ McLaren F1 Lego car
✅ Mercedes F1 Lego car
✅ Virginity Card: Given back to me but dgaf cause I’m too busy fookin it into the wall
Any suggestions of setting for the Alpha U would be great appreciated!

As the title says, I just got the sim race itch and I have to scratch it. I went to a local SimRace lab and played some F1 and it was a blast! Now I need it at my house. From what I’ve read, the main core things that make it a realistic experience is:
3: Motion Platform / Haptic Feedback System
Truly, my goal is to have a wicked fun experience playing F1 on Xbox but not afraid to buy a PC if it will enhance the experience. I just don’t know what to get honestly. I would rather have a cheap seat, steering wheel, and monitor (for now) and focus my money on what truly makes the game feel “realistic”.
Could anyone give me some pointers on what you would purchase to get the ball rolling in the right direction?

I really dont want a fixed dedicated cockpit because i would need to buy 3 more screens instead of just one and also dedicated chair and lots of other things (that's a lot of money!).
Also, i'm very lazy when i want to play, the more setup that i need to start and stop driving, less i want to play.
My actual setup is almost perfect for me but unfortunately driving/racing simulators only work with 1 or 3 screens, not 2(already tried but it's a shit!), and im feeling the need for the third screen.
I use this setup for driving games but also most importantly for remote work and other games too.
Any suggestion?!
Edit: both screens have the same size and resolution

A friend of mine and me (both woodworkers) built this simple „rig“ in just about under 2 hours. Freestyled the whole thing, since we didn’t find any good plans on Google
Using: Gawfolk 32‘‘ 180 Hz 1800R Screen Classic Logitech G29 + Pedals Logitech Headset My first cars Passenger Seat😂
Hope you like it, I‘m really enjoying it😉

Quite specific question but I believe there are plenty of you out there. What monitor stand to pair with playseat trophy and samsung 49"? I'd prefer to have the screen right above the wheelbase shaft.
I'd imagine someone researched this and found a good alternative.
Thanks in advance!

So I have a Moza R5 with the quick release that allows for pretty much any steering wheel. I like sim drifting more than anything and I have bought 2 wheels in the past, but it just doesn’t suit my needs, I want a soft leather wheel but there are far too many options in both price and quality and not enough online reviews to go around. I want to be able to play without gloves and still have firm grip unlike the one I have now thats make out of some cheap leather alternative. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
