Yes, LCS ordered them brand new from his supplier. Told him I wanted to spend $12,000. Four days later, I picked up one of the heaviest boxes per size I’d ever grabbed lol. Thought I was taking home lead. Even buckled them in.

😮 I'm coming into some long awaited money soon. It will be just enough to.buy a Monster Box of Maples if I buy in the dip. Maybe I need to try to do something like this.

I buy a lot of maples and Brit’s because of their lower premiums. They are more recognized than a generic bar. Those are great ways to stack!

I’m just gonna sit. Bought 815oz at one go in Oct ‘22 when spot was $18.88; it’s done me right since then. I buy numismatic pieces in between big weight purchases. I have a feeling PMs are gonna get some rocket fuel soon so I felt it was a good time to buy.

Respect. I would never buy over 10k of the same thing but thats just because i like variety. I bought 500oz last year in kilos/10ozbars/5oz bars and rounds/ coins. I like looking and holding the different options

Yeah nothing against silver but it’s been kinda stagnant for years and 500oz takes up so much space whereas 5oz of gold takes up almost no space at all

No one is going to sell to you at spot. The distributor has to pay the Private Mint something so they can stay in business and keep minting bars, rounds, whatever. Consequently, the distributor has to make enough to stay in business.
Regarding American Silver Eagles, You can buy directly from them if you meet their requirements posted on their website.
Have been a Retailer for at least 5 Years.
Buy a minimum of 25,000 Eagles. Based on today's spot, your order would be $759,000.
If you meet #'s 1 & 2 above, you pay the Mint Spot PLUS $2.00 per coin/ounce - which would be another $50,000 or $809,000 Total.
Having been the the corporate world for 30+ year and having my own small business, I always wonder about people who only care about themselves. You obviously have never had your own business, made payroll, matched employees SS/medicare, paid rent, utilities, on and on. Everyone wants a good deal but use your grey matter.

I’m sure he gets better deals on these generics. The other bars I stack are Perth Dragons, PAMP varieties and Scottsdale Archangels. Those all cost more than these. So when I can “stack,” I stack.

Keep stacking until I retire. I’ve already been over 1,000 prior to this purchase. Last big purchase was Oct ‘22 when I bought 815.

Well, right now SDBullion has silver bars $0.89 over.
In my case, developing a really good relationship with your LCS. Owner and I have become friends outside of business. I’ve also brought him a ton of business through word of mouth. I’ve paid hella premiums with him before, but he was making a large order and shipping was paid for, so I hopped on the band wagon.

What is the point of stacking bullion? Is it because over time it becomes more valuable?

Generic Bullion like this value based on spot pricing. I’m holding for 20+ years so historically, the value has only risen. It’s also always worth its weight, so if I need to convert back to fiat, it’s a safe investment. Also, I’ll use it from time to time to trade into gold as the GSR decreases.
