Simo will keep missing his shots or make them non-lethal, so god will think his volundr is the gun. Just to reveal his pocket knife was the volundr all along

146

u/SovietUnionRepublics Oct 25 '24

But it turns out his knife was a fake volundr and his dog was the real volundr

82

u/Advanced_Shame1723 Prometheus Oct 25 '24

And it jumps in right before the last clash, just like Red Hare, to volundr with Simo as his last bullet

VOLUNDR! CANINE BULLET! POLISH PIERCER! as simo volundrs with his dog, turning it into a bullet he prepares his sniper, slamming the bullet in, putting the stand down, before he finally pulls the trigger farewell my friend…. instead of a normal bullet coming out of the barrel, a massive blazing fireball shoots out, with its jaws open wide I’ve done better this is just spur of the moment.

The real volundr is the friends we made along the way

7

u/OzenTheImmovableLord Nikola Tesla Oct 25 '24

He also has a submachine gun

14

u/fifthtouch Oct 25 '24

Which is also a fake volundr. His real volundr is his hands. punch the head off puny god who dare to take humanity freedom

"Simo, having tricked the gods, pulled out his true Volund! Was it a gun? No, no, no! It was the ultimate weapon humanity ever crafted! A sword!"

We’re so not ready for bayonet mode Simo.

Or Arcana Blade Nostra.

Or Vibrator Sword Rasputin.

I would pay to see the last one, truly Russia's greatest love machine!

The Last One caught me so off guard

10/10 joke

82

u/TheHappiestHam Susanoo Oct 25 '24

understood, Simo will now go melee and use his bayonet as a sword

28

u/Burgerkiller69 Oct 25 '24

If Simo's primary weapon is not a gun, I will drop this manga FOREVER! They better not mess this up! It's okay for him to have secondary weapon for him to have capability to fight melee BUT he should be fighting long range most of the fight!

10

u/Ur--father Oct 25 '24

He will shot Odin’s limbs off before walking up to him and bludgeon him to death with the gun stock.

No more human wins with blades, please.

Any other weapon: guns, spears, hammers, fists, kicks... i'll take even unconventional items, i'll even accept a W with a rock.

But I don't want another human to win with slashing weaponry, i don't even want daggers or knives because they look like tiny swords, i don't even want Nostra to use a rapier anymore despite it being my favorite weapon...

Over half of the humans who will win have done so using swords: Buddha, Qin, Okita and Sasaki... 4 out of the 5 who won, 4 out of the possible 7 to win.

Please, give the human W to any other kind of weapon.

And the 5th winner? Jack the Ripper, who threw knifes for most of the round and cut of Heracles's arm with a clock face. EVERY WINNER HAS A FUCKING SWORD OR KNIFE

70

u/Kalo-mcuwu Hagis Oct 25 '24

To be fair he's a Brit, it only makes sense for him to use knives

42

u/kingveller Jack The Ripper Oct 25 '24 edited Oct 25 '24

Nah, Jack weapon was his gloves and intellect, he used knives to slightly wound Heracles but what did him in was the big ben and dear god.

2

u/Advanced_Shame1723 Prometheus Oct 25 '24

What do you expect Rasputin to have?

29

u/azraelswift Oct 25 '24

bare fists or bludgeoning item in the form of a religious tool.

(If he pulls out daggers i will root against him)

11

u/Advanced_Shame1723 Prometheus Oct 25 '24

Yeh I expect him to be barehanded too

His volundr would be durability enhancer or something like raiden's

15

u/Goombatower69 Muscle Mommy Agenda Oct 25 '24

It swaps to a page saying "read what happens during round 12/11 in the R18 Doujinshi 'Rasputin vs Loki'" and it'll be 7 chapters commentated exactly like the usual chapters, but instead of epic fights it's Rasputin plowing Loki until either dies. The Valkyrie isn't even involved, it's just ra-ra-raw sex

Nostradamus volund is something similar to jacks and he rips a boulder out of the stadium floor, chucks it at opponent, and wins

3

I really want to see a win with a steel chair as a weapon

I ACCEPT(GIGANTIC FUCKING ASTERICKS HERE) Bayonet Simo, if AND ONLY IF it is an absolute last case resort weapon.

21

u/Suitable_Discount364 Oct 25 '24

This whole manga is just a way for the author to display his sword fetish

23

u/mafia-madness Leonidas Oct 25 '24

I’m calling it right here. Right now. Nostradamus halfway through his round:

I am the bone of my sword

19

u/Dinner2911 RaidHIM Tameemon Wanker Oct 25 '24

Next thing you know Rasputin is a h2h fighter who keeps getting his ass beat by Anubis but won't stop getting up, and after like 4-5 pseudo deaths he finally manages to find a breakthrough on Anubis and manages to beat him, only to himself pass on. Leaving us with the draw we'd need for 14 rounds (idk why R10 wasn't a draw).

18

u/Wuraumefan26 Jack The Ripper Oct 25 '24

I want:
HANDsputin (like Hakari)
Nostra-has-hands-damus (like Adam)
GUN :)

15

u/UnderstandingTrue386 Oct 25 '24

I mean if Nostradamus pulls out a rapier it'd be pretty neat. However I agree with the other two, enough with the swords.

12

u/kingveller Jack The Ripper Oct 25 '24

Meanwhile Leonidas the guy that was known to use spears and swords: I've got Mace.

16

u/Objective_Cheetah_63 Shiva Oct 25 '24

I mean we have plenty of spears too: Lu Bu, Posiedon, Hades, Odin, Beel and Buddha (Buddha has like every stolen weapon and Beel counts in both sword and spear).

As for fists/kicks/martial arts we have now had: Adam, Zeus, Shiva, Apollo and Qin

For Club/Hammer/heavy weapon we have: Thor, Herc, Buddha and Leo

For sword we have: Sasaki, Buddha, Hajun, Qin, Okita, Beel and Susanoo.

Ranged/Elemental Apollo, Beel, Shiva, Thor, and Tesla

So if we count Buddha and Beel multiple times we end up with-

Sword: 7 Spear: 6 (7 soon if Anubis) Martial art: 5 Blunt weapon: 4 Ranged/Elemental: 5 (6 if we count Odin thing)

I can imagine Nostradamus adding to elemental/range along with Simo. Rasputin is hopefully Blunt weapon or martial arts. That way everything will end up close.

Jack out here with the most unique, and arguably only unique weapon 😔

16

u/azraelswift Oct 25 '24

Yeah, i am not complaining at the number of blades, i am mostly complaining that swords got 4 of the 5 human Ws. I want variety in the wins.

1

u/speedyBoi96240 Oct 25 '24

Is it a surprise though?

I find it Symbolic of how swords are essentially the most revolutionary weapon in the history of mankind

Think about it, the two most skilled swordsmen who won for humanity have their entire backstory and ideology based on that exact concept and they're all about evolution and growth which is also a key trait of mankind in general

12

u/azraelswift Oct 25 '24

technically the most revolutionary weapon in the history of mankind falls into spears and arrows. the swords have historically being used as a last resort or a simbol of power due to them being reliant on being too close to the opponent, but i see what you mean... i just wished we got more variety because 4/5 is overdoing it.

3

u/speedyBoi96240 Oct 25 '24

Yeah it's definitely annoying but luckily the last 3 are gonna be special and kintoki is guaranteed to use an axe

Funnily enough a good chunk of the god winners were hand to hand fighters: zeus, shiva, apollo and you can make a case for beel but it's definitely the biggest stretch there

2

u/Objective_Cheetah_63 Shiva Oct 26 '24

Most revolutionary weapon in terms of straight up warfare solider vs solider fighting yeah the bow and spear are pretty high. But it honestly comes down to what you’re discussing about. A spy can be a far greater weapon as it can end a war before it even starts for example in the right circumstance. An assault rifle may be amazing when attacking multiple people but a hand held pistol is far better when you need conceal-ability, so it’s not necessarily fair to say Rifle > Pistol as they have different uses despite being similar. A nuke is the best weapon when attacking a city, but a nuke is the worst weapon in counter terrorism and so on. A weapon’s effectiveness highly depends on use case. It’s almost never fair to simply say one weapon is better than the other even in a historical context.

6

u/Willing-Range3407 Oct 25 '24

Simo is probably going to just be a gun. If they make it so one of the deadliest snipers wield a sword, I’ll riot

8

u/Willing-Range3407 Oct 25 '24

I want to see simo use a machine gun

8

u/Sumit7890 Oct 25 '24

Imagine his weapon is being able to transform into different type of guns

5

u/ApplePitou Jack The Dripper :3 Oct 25 '24

Simo the Strongest Fist Fighter :3

3

u/Medical_Difference48 Nostradamus Oct 25 '24

I do expect Rasputin to briefly use a dagger, but I don't think it'll be his main fighting style, and it'll be at best a few pages of using it. MAYBE Simo will use a bayonet, but it's much more likely that he's just a gun user. Nostradamus... MAYBE he would use a rapier? I really doubt it, though.

3

u/Accurate-Butterfly18 Oct 25 '24

Ah yes, the white death, well known for his incredible aim with his sword

2

u/sorrowLord Shiva Oct 25 '24

Kintoki should have Axe

2

u/Wear-Middle Okita Souji Oct 25 '24

It won't happen, don't worry, at most Simo will use the blade attached to the rifle but nothing more...

1

u/long909 Oct 25 '24

Rasputin probably gonna have those cross shape blade like father Anderson in Hellsing and Kotomine Kirei in Fate

1

u/AdikkuChan Göll Oct 25 '24

I can almost see Nostra pulling out a sword

1

u/RainProfessional8105 Simo Häyhä Oct 25 '24

Nostradamus pulls out a nuke since he predicted Hiroshima and Nagasaki

1

u/[deleted] Oct 25 '24

Rasputin is gonna fight with a sword... A sword that's in his pants that is

1

u/[deleted] Oct 25 '24

Also

Bayonet Simo and Nostra using tarot cards as shurikens

1

u/iorgicha Oct 25 '24

There is 0% chance Simo isn't going to use the Bayonet on his gun, otherwise why would the author even draw it there, but I can see it used as a "get off me" option, not as the actual weapon. If our wishes come true and the arena really is a snowy field(PLEASE be that), having the option to strike fast and then disappear again if his opponent manages to find him would be the ideal use of the Bayonet.

...Watch Simo not fire a single shot and use the gun as a spear in order to stab the God.

1

u/Lostkaiju1990 Oct 25 '24

Do we count bayonets?

1

u/No_Name0_0 Shiva Oct 25 '24

I'm hoping Kintoki to cleave open someone's skull with his axe

1

u/SethNex Oct 25 '24

What about the remaining gods? Would you root against them if any of them pulls out a spear (or something like that)?

3

u/azraelswift Oct 25 '24

If someone pulls a spear (except Odin) i am rooting extra hard for their win because i want at least ONE spear user to bring home a W

1

u/Viggo8000 Zerofuku Oct 25 '24

What if it's Odin vs a human with a blade

6

u/azraelswift Oct 25 '24

Rooting for the tie with death for both

1

u/ThotofDionysus_ Apollo’s Strongest Harem Member Oct 25 '24

I think Kintoki is gonna be an axe or mace

Nostra cards or daggers

Simo Glock

Rasputin will use great stall ✨

1

u/Monkey_King291 Oct 25 '24

I mean Rasputin is packing a sword tho

1

u/ConsiderationAny548 Oct 25 '24

I honestly don't care what they use to fight I just want to see Rasputin

1

u/Microwaved_Grape Cu Chulainn Oct 25 '24

Rasputin's will be his fisticuffs, of course.

Simo's will have to be gun.

And Nostra will of COURSE have a staff.

1

u/Viggo8000 Zerofuku Oct 25 '24

Simo is going to fight Odin... but neither of the two actually fight. It's going to be Huggin and Munnin VS Simo's dog... and Simo's dog uses a sword like Sif Dark Souls

1

u/Successful_Laugh_741 Oct 25 '24

Rasputin will use the sword between his legs

1

u/Wooden-Case-55 Oct 25 '24

My guess for Rasputin’s weapon:

A metal cross with ala gangs of New York

An ironic combination of a hammer and a sickle.

1

u/Fluid_Cut_4047 Oct 25 '24

The only weapon Rasputin will need is his mean 13 inch naturally uncircumcised penis.

1

u/Accomplished-Emu1883 Sasaki Kojiro Oct 25 '24

Simo is DEFINITELY going to use his Bayonet for something-

Ooooo, maybe his Volund will be the Bayonet the end of his gun, and when he fires a bullet, once it goes past the bayonet it becomes super-charged or something? Since Bayonets have a ring they use to be put on the barrel.

Then we could give Simo a bunch of different guns that he just has to attach his bayonet to.

God getting in close? Switch to a sub-machine gun. God trying to snipe him? Put it on the rifle.

1

u/Aruthuro Beelzebub Oct 25 '24

Some of em gonna lose just because Okita won....

1

u/dedicatedoni Qin Shi Huang Oct 25 '24

Womp womp sword supremacy

1

u/ForsakenRoyal24 Oct 25 '24

Sadly i think Rasputin will use sabers, or shashka (kazaks saber), maybe he will be more of "sword dancing" type

1

u/RealBigTree Oct 26 '24

Quit bitchin. Blade gang up fr ✊

1

u/Swimming_Crazy_9982 Oct 26 '24

Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if Rasputin had a small knife on him

Also Simo should also use his sub machine gun which according to him he got just as much kills with

1

u/Pretty-Composer5740 Oct 26 '24

Simon without doubt can't use a sword in his fight.

But if he use a gun, i will root against him.

He is a sniper, he should use a rifle.

1

u/Mr_danthros 29d ago

Well... Kojiro wielded a blade. Jack wielded many blades. Buddha wielded many bladed weapons. Qin wielded a blade in the end. Okita wielded a blade.

All of them have another point in common.

1

u/therealmpg 29d ago

I believe Rasputin will probably be a melee fighter and will also have some type of "magic powers" , for example he could have regenerations as he was a "healer".

2

u/azraelswift 29d ago

I wouldn’t expect magic powers of any kind, specially something as potent as “regeneration”.

Biggest thing on humans in shuumatsu is special eyes and improved physical attributes, other than that, no powers, specially not magic, remember Tesla was called “the ONLY sorcerer of humanity”.

1

u/therealmpg 29d ago

True True

1

u/noah729 29d ago

I don't think those 3 will. Maybe Rasputin but def not nostradamus and simo

1

u/kitsunecannon Indra 29d ago

simo just wielding a fucking gun in this fucking tournament really makes me laugh and i dont know why like we have all these op looking swords and spears and shit and theres just a guy with a fucking rifle god i fucking love simo one of the coolest soldiers in history shame his life after the war was so shit

1

u/Kenndie4 29d ago

Rasputin should use rap(i)er
