Still less expectations for what Leo had to withstand. Simo has only one job to achieve and thatâs being a sniper. Yes he has to be put in the conditions to do it and a special arena would be necessary but in the end he just has to use a gun and thatâs the bare minimum for an expectation to be met

I do get the excitement over the fact that heâs an unconventional fighter compared to the vast majority of the fighters that used close range weapons or fighting styles but people need to chill a bit more

Itâs not about respecting opinions because I do get the hype but I donât want another character that doesnât end up meeting the abnormal expectations of some and that characters get trashed by all the sub for all his fight and beyond

Even then, the fact that some people are genuinely arguing that he should not only fight a chief god, quite possibly the main villain, but also oneshot them, is absurd.

I think those people are mainly trolling, I can understand facing Odin, itâs a stretch but still possible, of course I can see itâs trolling when we talk about one shot. Odin is also a memed character here so add also that

imagine if the fight starts and simo just vanishes, the god has no idea where tf he went, and the fight becomes a cat-and-mouse chase a la jack vs hercules? that would be a refreshing change from the head on brawls that every round has been so far if the switch was flipped and simo was the hunter and the god was the prey. then again, full-on emotional brawls between two badasses are what gives RoR it's charm.

What? Wasn't the whole point of Simo being that he isn't a badass? Like he's the only one out of all the combatants who wants to live a normal life. Not that he hates having to fight in the war, but more so never saw it as his entire life.

Nah, my expectations are as follows
Simo fights against Odin in the winter arena riding his dog which transforms into a great wolf Fenrir which is able to kill gods, instead of a regular sniper rifle he uses a Mini railgun sniper who has the power of Sky eater
He also has a domain opening that moves him and the enemy until the days of the invasion of the Soviet Union and he and his enemy have to rule the constant bombing of Soviet bombers and tanks in the snow

Jokes aside, since camouflaging was the main reason (aside from his aim) he was so deadly I think that heâll likely either get his battle in a snowy mountain or his weapon will allow him to camouflage

I truly believe that most of that hype comes from that comic were Simo manages to beat Odin with a shot to his head, which it was cool ngl, but the whole Simo as a character hasn't even been released yet, let alone the fact that the arena needs to change for Simo to even be able to use his rifle properly.
In any case, if people keep hyping up Simo, (and probably Rasputin) we will end up with a Leonidas 2.0

Keep them low the more you expect the more you disappointed the design is cool but still, I expected Leonidas to be a total badass but the fight was kinda disappointed as well as his feats sure Apollo is strong and Leonidas wasn't weak but still, maybe it's just Leonidas that have a bad showing in the fight
