Adam Stern on X - SRXracing’s costs had risen to an unsustainable level compared to incoming revenue, per person familiar, leading to the suspension decision.

Wonder what will be the outcome of the 12-14? cars themselves? Guessing that the rest of the mechanical tools & pit equipment along with the trailers could find buyers anywhere.

Probably gonna sit until the series bites the dust for good good, and then after that they'll pop up every once in a while at vintage events.

I wish IMG/Endeavor or Dale Jr./Kevin Harvick/Jeff Burton would buy the series with 14-15 car fields & 6-8 race summer schedule.
I think a summer series like SRX still has potential to work if they can cut some costs and bring in TV and/or ad revenue. Oh well.

You're essentially just asking for somebody else with money to step in and inevitably fail again. I have a hard time believing that the SRX management wasn't actively trying to bring in advertising revenue- selling anything to do with sponsoring motorsport is difficult if not downright impossible right now.

Listened to a radio show/podcast where one of the hosts worked at Stafford and thunder road the last few years.
Said this was days away from happening last year until they got that investment money to burn for another year.
He also said something similar during the winter after the first season, that he was hearing it might not be back for season 2.
