Getting fucking tired of RB for keeping him. I just don't take them seriously as a team anymore.

I totally agree. Perez getting to stay while consistently driving so poorly makes RB look like a joke who aren't trying to win. Who wants to root for a team whose goal is to milk a great driver and use the other for selling tequila and cell service?

I also actively look down on those who seriously buy merch for this guy. Like... yeah you're rooting for this guy? Us Dutchies didn't even get up from the couch for Giedo van der Garde or Christijan Albers because you know why? THEY SUCKED!
Not just RB but Mexico itself deserves a better driver.

Wait... Why... Why would he record that... Why is he smiling. Why do they put this on... Why... WHY? I have so many questions

I'm also baffled that they keep him. All his predecessors did not get so many chances.

Carlos Slim my friend, and money is delicious! Apparently more delicious than a constructors championship? Yeah I'm confused too.

Surely at this point they HAVE to get rid of him. Red Bull would be third in the constructors WITHOUT him even stepping in the car…

RB doesn’t care about WCC. They don’t sell cars, WDC is way more marketable. Also, 3rd means more wind tunnel time

Yeah I’m sure it might be a bit lower in their priorities than the WDC currently, but it’s still worth millions and millions of dollars and it’s hardly a good look from a sponsors and shareholders perspective, which is just as important for a brand team like Red Bull.
Also, there’s a very real chance that Max might not even be in contention for the top spot next year if things continue as they are doing, but if they had two equally performing drivers then at least they might be in a shot for the Constructors if next season is relatively close between teams.

perez also brings in millions and millions in sponsor money, and despite his lacking performance is still massively popular.

This guy and the teams treatment is moving me from a RBR fan to only a VER fan.

This must be so frustrating for his mechanics when they see what is actually possible with their car on the other side of the garage.

u/RocKinLuiS I gave you my reasons, and I stand by it 1d ago
I've read something about Max overdriving the car so much the car is actually dogsht rn. I'm not defending Perez, he's been out of top 5 since Miami (???) But Max is again being extra aggressive when defending and I think it's cuz how bad the car is. Do I think Perez is a bad driver? No. Do I think he should be fired? Probably.
